Christmas Countdown - 2013

I'll try not to be a downer, but just now I'm feeling awfully sad and lonesome, because Mr. is usually the one I go to when I feel bad, but that's not an option right now.

Today I started feeling that way, too. My eyes feel like they do when I have a cold, so I am going to start a "cold regimen," LOL!!! I hope you get to feeling better, Xmas!

Good evening.
We found the dogs owner. I decided to drive around the neighborhood again this afternoon to see if I could find any missing dog posters and thankfully I saw one. I wasn't crazy about the people, they were very nonchalant about the situation and I don't even recall them saying thank you to me. My husband and I gave the dog a bath this morning, he was long overdue for a groomer appointment. He was such a good boy, he got along well with Molly and Maggie and he didn't bark once while he was here. I pray that they are good to him.
Anyway, I didn't get too much done around here today. I am working on a few loads of laundry now. All other chores can wait until tomorrow, I'm so tired. I didn't sleep well last night with the lost dog here, I kept waking up all night and checking on him to see if he was alright. I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the night.
I hope everyone is well and has a good night.

I'm glad you found his owners and hopefully they are better then they appear.

I can't even believe that....grrr!!

They should be ecstatic that their baby is home. Did they say if he got out of the house or explain why he didn't have tags & a collar?

You did such a kind thing for the little sweetheart, I know he was grateful.

I truly hope they are better parents to him now.

When you make your decisions, will you post some pics? We think we are going with an Italian tile for the floor and a subway tile for the backsplashes. Hubby has almost finished taking off the old roof.

I hear you about driving instructors. Must have patience of steel!!!

I thought that maybe I would feel more comfortable driving with her after she had a week of lessons. Well I was wrong. Still not comfortable, lol. Anyway, the girls are all out right now and my husband is doing some work in the house. He is still working on the radiant heat in the floors. He's hoping to have it finished up by this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, then we will actually be able to start looking at flooring samples. That will make me happy.
Well I am getting sleepy. Time for me go lay down and rest while I wait for the girls to get home.

In a way I'm glad you found the owners, but deep down, I wish he were staying with you and Molly and Maggie. I think he'd get more love and care in your home. But you did the right thing.
