Christmas Countdown - 2013

Wet, humid and hot today so far. Supposed to have rain most of the day but it is not cooling off any.
Going to watch Despicable Me 2 this afternoon and Monsters University tomorrow.
In an hour or so I off to get the hay stack on my head mowed. Shocked the girl at work by admitting how old I really was, she did not believe me, how great is that!

I already got what I wanted most for my birthday: I got to bring Mr. home today! He's going to have a PICC line in his arm for a couple weeks for antibiotics, but he's doing well. I know all your prayers and positive thoughts helped. Thank you again.

Hello all. Just got back from my daughter's bday party and a fun time was had by all! I am hungry so I hope Carl has something good. If he doesn't it sounds like Seawaters does!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a nice one here with a high around 80 degree's. No real big plans for us. Just going to my sister's house for a cookout for dinner and then we will watch the towns fireworks from her yard. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Enjoy the movies! We took the kids two weekends ago to see Monsters University and as long as the weather stays okay, we're going to the drive-in to see Despicable Me 2 on Friday!

Good morning!
It is going to be hazy, hot and humid today. Too hot for me but at least we aren't expecting any rain.
I am going to head outside soon with my hubby to finish getting the back yard ready for our barbecue.

It was a very rough night at work tonight, the proper language to describe it I cannot use here. cheesy
We will be heading to the parade in the morning and to the in-laws for a cookout.

I hope to pop in at some point during the day.

Happy 4th of July! Some of the kids on our street are already celebrating with their bottle rockets. Some of them are my students and we sit out there for about 30 minutes and I showed them how the ol' man does it. They got a kick out of it! I also got a kick out of one of them taking a sip of my coffee. I thought he was going to puke. LOL. It's the little moments.

Right now, watching the Martins. They have left on the the week of the fourth the past three years....my numbers are slightly large this morning, so they might be gathering. I don't see any more young in the nests that can fly, so it will probably be any day.

This afternoon....cookout at bro-in-laws, horseshoes (which I love to throw), and fireworks. Enjoy, relish in the fun and family, and be safe. See yall tonight or in the morning!
