Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good afternoon/evening mmc
Hows your day going good i hope.

My day is done work and all for 3 days
Gonna get some painting done but it gives it so warm tomorrow might leave it to saturday as its says its gonna be cooler

As i was saying in a earlier post, this is our 12th weekend where one religion celebrates the battle of the boyne. they built and light really big bon fires on the 11th(tonight)
Usually they wood burn the irish flag on top or maybe some irish members of council.
But this year one bonfire, someone put a 3 ft statue of our lady on it and before they did they smashed her face in, lots of people on both religions are really angry at this. i usually could not care less. but i feel this is to much. like whatever religion someone is Mary is still our lords mother. and it is so sad some one feel they had to do it. think it was taken down .

Anyway it was so warm today and even tonight its still well in the 20.s my roof fan is on full speed.
Hope you days going good and all furbabies are doing good in the heat. especially wee chico

That is so disrespectful, regardless of who it what you believe in!!

I HATE SUMMER!!!

Summer ends for me after July 4 is over, I hate summer also!!! Bring on the snow and 30*F days!!!

I've been playing Kringle radio all morning and planning my christmas displays. the sun is surprisingly hot for Wales!. I do miss the winter months and a hint of snow

I drove with this guy! We have gone on a few charters together. Never liked him, he was rude and crude. I hope for the kids sake the truth of all this come out quickly.

Don't think this needs to be a questions asked. I think you should shoot for the sky and always go big with displays. only place that needs to be subtle with a Christmas display is the bathroom

Good morning all. Well, I was supposed to be off work tomorrow but just got word I'm going to need to come in. That's alright. Tomorrow is, however, our 10th anniversary. My wife has put up with me for a whole decade! For that, she deserves a medal (and one for just being an all around wonderful wife and mother! cheesy).

Since I thought I had tomorrow off I was planning on taking my son to see the Lone Ranger (my daughter has denounced it as a "boy movie" and refuses to watch). Even though I have to be up early tomorrow, I think I'll still take him.

Hope y'all have a great day! And hope none of you are too tired from any antics that may or may not have gone on last night at Carl's place.

I have been reading these posts about summer, some hate it some love it . Me I like something about each season.
I do not enjoy the heat and humidity, but love the BBQs, camping, time around the camp fire and fun in the pool.
Spring and fall are the best because the temperatures are more even and still warm enough to not have to bundle up or practically go without any in order not to melt!
The highlight of the year is of course Christmas! It is was makes winter beautiful.

I feel terrible for the kids and I won't even say what I think should happen to the guy if this is true.

Thanks. Prayers are need and much appreciated. Its been a 14 year fight with colon cancer and she is a tough lady. Now her goal is to be able to visit Myrtle Beach on Labor Day weekend. She wants to see the ocean again.

Still praying and thinking of you guys. Praying you will have that special time together in September.

I love new york at christmas, simply beautiful. I am desperate to bring my mum over to see the Macy's thanksgiving day parade one year!

I agree - it is so beautiful at Christmas. It's my goal one year to see the parade in person, as well.
