********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Friends!

While all mornings here at MMC are good, some are just gooder than other.

And among those "gooder" days are Milestone Days.

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164
And there you have it, Folks.
The 2/3 Season marker.
Milestone #11 on our handy-dandy chart.

And passing that point now means we can start talking about Milestone #12.
It's just 3 weeks from tomorrow.
And it's the........
(I find this incredible to be saying!)
THE ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON MILESTONE!

<< Oh, no, Crown. It just can't be. Too soon. I've barely got last year's decorations packed away. >>

Hey! What can I say? The holidays have a way of creeping up on you. Everyone here should be well aware of that fact by now!

Rainy yesterday. Very rainy. Our guage read 1 1/2 inches.
Of course, it was cooler.
But I'm tired of the wet stuff and long for a dry day.
Perhaps today?
We are at 71.4 degrees here right now.

Have a Super Sunday and a Rousing Rest of the Weekend, Everyone!

Went to Hallmark for the ornament premiere this morning. It was packed. They had lots of beautiful ornaments and lots of Jim Shore piece's!! I resisted the urge though and didn't buy anything.

Kudos on your self control!

I'm going later in the week as I had things to do at home and didn't get to the bank before it closed. The Hallmark I like to go to has sidewalk sale days and I usually score a few ornaments from last year for a dollar each. I usually make a day of it and wander through Bronner's, too. I'm really looking forward to going!!!

Tonight, my wife and I will celebrate our 6th year of marriage....what a great day it was....what a great 6 years it has been...here's to 60 more!

Going to eat...and to see a movie...she picks where we eat...I pick the movie...

World War Z here we come....stoked!

Happy Anniversary to you and Mrs. Coach!!!

Good evening all!

Hope you are staying cool! Just browsing around....and back. William just came downstairs because he woke up. lol. Wife is away at a girls weekend trip. Got a nice Christmas in July card from Brittd19! I'm longing for Christmas and the cooler weather. Oh well! Christmas in July for MMC is coming soon! I have it marked down! Well stay cool and have a good rest of the weekend everyone!!

Good to see you, Undrtakr! Stay cool!!!

Good morning, MMC!

It is going to be very humid here for the next five days so yesterday I prepped food for the week. I also put up my first bag of kale. Love that green! The raspberries are ripe now and there is a third of a quart bag in the fridge. Not sure what I am going to do with them yet. All the berries that I pick are from wild bushes on the farm. I say farm as it was a farm when my dad bought it - now it is mostly woods. There is also a stray black cat fighting with Bottle. I haven't been able to get close enough to shoo it away. Bottle has been such a good cat - doesn't fight with any of my cats and waits until they are done eating before he eats. I hope he doesn't get hurt! Not much to do today other than stay cool!

Be MERRY and safe!!!

Happy Milestone Day!!!

Gm all my friends. Hope the weekend for everyone was nice and not to hot. Yesterday the wife and I went to Nashville and stopped at joana fabrics saw all the fall, halloween, thanksgiving and very small Christmas stuff. It made me so happy and now makes it seem like holidays will be here soon and yet at the sometime seems so far away.

Happy Milestone Day!
I am at the doctors office waiting to have my blood drawn again. I've been having some issues that make me suspect I may have other food allergies on top of the Celiac Disease. I'm hoping to get the results back soon. Not too much else going on today. The dogs have a groomer appointment later this morning. And I may take a ride to Trader Joes this afternoon for a few things. Other than that daily chores. Have a great day!!!

I enjoy summer. (Don't hate me ... cheesy )

I could never hate you MerryCarey!!!!!:-D I bet if you lived in Texas you would change your mind though.

I whole heartedly agree with this...

Here are my top 10 reasons, for why I hate summer:
  1. The excess temperatures.
  2. The excess Humidity.
  3. The Mosquittos.
  4. Poison Ivy and related plants...
  5. Having to cut the grass.
  6. High Cost to run the AC 24/7.
  7. high Cost to water the lawn/ plants.
  8. Bad Storms.
  9. Extra cleaning of the house, the deck, the porch and the cars due to Pollen.
  10. Allergies....

Nice list.

Well as a footnote to my hating of summer, we are supposed to start a cool down today. I heard a high of 89 Monday!!!!

I wasn't even a big fan of summer in Maryland, mainly because of the 95% humidity, but I didn't hate it as much as I do here in Texas.

Good morning .... Ohhhhh Made ,,,,,, Coach. Daddy O,,,,,,,,Jayish,,,,( get off Facebook,,,,), Ohhhhh. Crown,,,,,,wakey waked. And you too Brad,,,,,

Good evening,

I had an absolutely horrid day at work today, made me really wish I called out and went to Hallmark instead. Next year I think I will request the day off to make a day trip of doing Christmas In July stuff. I had to come home and lie down for an hour just to catch my bearings. I got of work really late due to the lack of things accomplished. I am off tomorrow, nothing is planned, and it will stay that way, I would like to run to Hallmark, but the trip is too long and I know my boys don't like going to the mall, so I will wait a little longer to check out the ornaments, but I still have my Dream Book.

On a different note, I saw Hostess CupCakes on sale today!!!! I know they were suppose to be back on Monday but they snuck in early, I love those little bad for you treats. Wooohoo!!!

Have a good night everyone!!!

All of my boys (including hubby!) loves Steamboat Junction! It's so cute! I loved Clark's Christmas miracle too!
Good picks!

Thanks!!
My hubby actually liked it too =]
I dig the rendition of Old King Wenceslas! Every time I hear that dong now, I think of the scene in Love Actually with Hugh Grant singing it for the cuteblittle girls ;)

You got some great deals, too!!

Up until last month, they still had 50% off last year's Keepsakes, but I did not see them yesterday.
