I appreciate the prayers. I'm trying to stay positive and realize maybe God has me where I'm at right now for a reason and He wants to use me for something around here. Or maybe the right one just hasn't opened up.

Or maybe I should stop pulling out my iPhone and posting on the MMC forum in the middle of job interviews, as I'm beginning to think some potential employers actually frown upon that! Some of those potential jobs have got a lot of nerve, I'll say that much...

Hahaha!! Some nerve is right!

I think the right ones will come to us in time...I will pray for patience!

Maybe we could have a separate thread dedicated only to QVC and HSN during the Christmas in July period. But for goodness sake, put some kind of rating on it as we may have kids stumble upon it! :wink:

I'm just playing...it wasn't that bad.

We have the QVC discussion thread in the TV section for the rest of the year. The CIJ chat has been a tradition in the countdown since before I started though and the people that started it thinks it should stay here. So I'm not going to argue with them.

Hey all...stopping by to say hello on a horribly hot and humid day in southeastern Wisconsin. I took my little grandson to the Mall today to play and blow off some steam so his mama could have some quiet time with his 6 week old brother. We had fun and the highlight for my little guy is to have his pumpkin bread at Starbucks with Nana. Today he took my face and pulled me to him with a mouth full of pumpkin bread to give me a big kiss! He makes me smile and feel very loved!
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer day and staying safe if you are in the midst of this heatwave.

Good morning! Happy Friday Eve!

Another HOT ol day in Ohio! One more after today & then it's supposed to cool off a little!! I'm looking forward to my brother/sil coming home from Cape Cod this weekend & our family camp out!!! :grin: I have a lot of food to make between now & Saturday!! I made cookies last night...it was too hot to go outside anyway!! Hopefully tonight I can get a lot done - stuffed jalapeno's, buffalo chicken macaroni & cheese, cinnamon roll cake for sure...and I need to figure out what kind of meat to bring for the grill/fire! Oh FUN!!!

even though Harlowe and I just went on a long walk in the heat

A neighbor lady is moving to Florida, and she has been having a lot of rummage sales… @ Each time I walk by, I buy something Christmasy except for the last time...her Santa that I've been staring at was overpriced, and I really don't "need" anything else...
Until I walked by this morning!! And saw that he was marked down to three bucks!! Isn't he cute?

Meceka - Our 1st aid sales rep was in this morning & he looked terrible! He looked like he had been beat up! His face was purple, orange, red, gray & puffy/swollen, his lips were huge! I asked him what the heck happened - He said he had been golfing & boating the last two days in Michigan & he woke up this morning like that - sun poisoning! He looked TERRIBLE!!!
