We had a great vacation! We got home yesterday afternoon about 6pm. It was 92° and 100% humidity. Yikes, it never got over 78° in Maggie Valley last week! I wanted to give Mgramsey a call to meet for a cup of coffee while I was in the neighborhood, but my family kept me on the run all week.

Still, it was good to see Bellville. A week is about as much time away from home as I want at one time. And it's good to have full-time access to MMC, too!

Glad you had a good time!!!

Well we are supposed to get a pretty good rain overnight. So I may have just went to the store and bought a pretty big canister of lighter fluid. If you here about any forest fires in Indiana tomorrow, I swear I had nothing to do with it!!!!!

I love their stuff as well! I am going to be ordering some stuff for fall as well and I can't wait to order a few more things to add to my Christmas decorations.

Good Monday Morning!

I hope everyone is recharged and ready to take on the new week!

Not much planned today. Catching up with a few chores and errands and then I have an appointment with the Doctor.

I am looking forward to the Meteor shower tonight!!! I love stuff like this !! I really hope we see something exciting. The morning paper says we should have a clear night for viewing.

Fogot to share some exciting news. I picked up the autum Argos catelogue and inside it said the christmas one will be out on October 14th!!!!

Ok well got to dash. Hope your day is a good one...
xx

Hope you're doctor's appt. went well!

Good Morning, My Friends!!

And am I feeling good!
My clever niece has solved my nasty computer/modem problems and increased my internet speed to boot!
(It takes a youngster to really get these complicated things done right, you know.)

OK!
Back on line and on onward with our ever-dwindling count:
Days to the Season: 93
Days to Christmas Day: 135

Highdy-Ho, good neighbor, and Hark as well!
TWO days remain until we reach yet another Milestone, the 3/4 marker to the Season and the start of our final quarter.
(Makes you want to get an advance on Carl's eggnog blend!)

The humidity?
Oh, yeah. It's here in spades.
The temp?
Not too bad but coupled with the humidity, it makes you want to give a gold medal to whoever invented air conditioning.
Right now, we show 76 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks!
(And after reading how close our next Milestone is, I'll bet your Week is off to a Fantabulous start!)

Glad you got everything fixed!

Oh no...call Boy Scouts of America.

Thank you Sugar. It's so stressful when they all start driving!

I can only imagine. I worry everyday about my kids and they are so little. It's only going to get worse, I know!

Never saw this merchant before---loved looking through their stuff! I might have to get a candy-cane holder for my desk at the office.

I'm not sure why they stopped coming here. We threw some tubes in the pool and I read that may prevent them from landing in the pool. I guess it worked. I kind of miss them, lol.

Float a couple of duck decoys on your pool when you get lonesome for them! cheesy

Good afternoon, everyone! Whew...I am finally all caught up again. How are you all doing? I am well. I am just spending time with the kids and getting ready to do some more housework, which I've slowly been working on all day.

What's new with all of you? Not much here. I go back to work tonight, after being off yesterday. Yesterday was very enjoyable. I attended my best friend's baby shower and then we went to the drive-in last night. We saw Planes and the second movie was Smurf's 2, but there was no way the kids can stay awake that late.

What is your plan's for tonight. DH and I are both working, so my will be watching the kids. I already have dinner in the crockpot, which is helpful. I made broccoli and cheese soup.

Well, I am off to get some things. I will check back in later. I hope you are all enjoying your day. Thinking of you all. God Bless and keep smiling!
