Good afternoon, MMC!

Food milling tomatoes this afternoon. I'm hoping the bulk of the tomatoes will not ripen until it cools down after next week - I want to do some canning. Too humid today. I organized the contents of the chest freezer - it's quite the job as I am short and have a hard time reaching the bottom. Good way to cool off on a hot day, though. cheesy

Can you come redo my freezer too? I just bought a ham at the grocery store because I didn't want to dig the one I had in my freezer out.

Well, we celebrate a different Tiny Tim here but we have indeed tiptoed right on to yet another Milestone, today marking the 2/3 point to Christmas Day.

I love this ... invoking two versions of Tiny Tim as we count down! Bravo!

Snow-in-Texas and I had a "great" idea to get an early start at the lake for a bike ride yesterday too beat the heat-ha ha! We got there about 7:50 am and took a 40 minute bike ride. It was way too hot already and we were dripping with sweat, along with everyone else who was exercising at the lake. You could hear people as you pass by saying it's way too hot. Yep, we are in Texas! It was 80 degrees and high humidity at 7 am. It was still fun!

We got all our errands done by a little after noon then I was wiped out and we spent the rest of the day laying around watching TV and was asleep around 8:30. I wanted to do so much more yesterday but just wasn't feeling too swift. Regardless, it's still nice to have a day with the hubby and the dogs! They were all up in bed with us. =)

Congratulations on your new grandchild/first grandson!

I've been listening to Christmas music on my drive to work some mornings, but not all (yet!). Some mornings I stream music from my Amazon Cloud Player, and other mornings I stream Kringle Radio. (The main reasons I love having an iPhone!) Afternoons I've been listening to other music or streaming a radio station in Hilo, Hawaii. I wonder if they'll play Hawaiian Christmas music as the season approaches? cheesy

Hi everyone! WOW...FOUR months today is CHRISTMAS!!! How EXCITING is that!!!

I'm sorry I cannot get on here more often to post. Its been super busy in both professional and personal life! We had our third grandchild born in April - our first grandson! We now have 3 grandchildren...and being a Grammie is the best thing ever!

Well...the only music I listen to on my mp3 player - is Christmas music. I listen to it as I walk from the train station to work, on my lunch breaks and walking back to the train station. As I walk - I remember how all the shops decorate at Christmas...and I am sooooo excited to see it all in real life again! Veeeeery soon!

I hope everyone is well - and in the Christmasy spirit! Have a merry day!!!

A milestone day! And the start of the week when college football begins! And 80 days until the season! Oh, and I have some time off work this week as I use up some vacation on my last week at my agency before I start a new career. One more...next week is Labor Day. Pretty sweet week shaping up, friends.

It sure sounds like it! Enjoy your time off and the holiday. And wishing you success and happiness in your new career.

Thanks for reminding us that Labor Day is a week from Monday. Looking forward to the long weekend! And I have some vacation days left that I need to schedule pretty soon. If I play my cards right, I'll have only four-day weeks from November 15 through Christmas (except the three-day Thanksgiving week!).

Congrats on your grandson being born.

Ooh, I just realized that there is a Joy of Christmas show on QVC at 5pm EDT today!!!


Also Wednesday they are having a Holidays at home event. It looks like it will be a mixture of fall and christmas decor shows. With Christmas shows specifically at 4am, 9am, and 12pm.
