Slept in this morning so I am already behind.
Taking mom for a follow up appointment after her laser surgery for her glaucoma.
Right now I have a headache, payment for sleeping to long! So I am going to take something and then get to work on another cake for this weekend.

[Holiday]

I have added grated pumpkin or squash to Mac and cheese in the past and its been scrumptious! It adds a nice buttery, creaminess to it.

You might be pleasantly surprised......

You all have just made me decide on dinner tonight. Mac and Cheese! Whoo Hoo!

Good afternoon, friends!

Stopping in for a quick "hello" a I ride the train back to Ottawa. I know, I returned from vacation on Monday, but I had to take a quick train ride to Brockville this morning. The reason? I had an interview for a supply teacher with the Upper Canada District School Board. It seemed to go OK. Hopefully I get a position. I really need this to (finally) work out! At least Brockville is only about an hour train ride/drive from Ottawa...It's an easy travel.

No plans for tonight. I will probably go to the gym at my normal time and then see what is happening afterward. Kim is in Toronto for a bachelorette party, so I'm free to roam if I want to. We'll see what happens.

I hope everyone is having a great Friday... and ready for a monumentous milestone celebration on Sunday. 3/4 to the Christmas Season! It's a good thing that my two new blu rays (Elf - I wanted to upgrade from DVD) and Polar Express arrived in the mail yesterday. Perfect timing!

I hope everyone is well!
I am taking a quick coffee break and wanted to say hello :-D
My husband finished installing all of the wood floors and will begin to sand them tonight. The next few days are going to be interesting. We have friends that are letting us have their camper to park in our driveway until the floors are finished. I guess we will try and make do with that for as long as we can. We'll see how it goes. I'm trying not to panic, lol. I'm not happy about the whole thing but I want it done now before the girls start school. I'm hoping the kids will be able to stay with their friends for a day or two to make it a little bit easier on them. I also have two cats and two dogs to deal with. We are going to pack up what we think we will need and I am trying to get all of my laundry finished. I was writing out a grocery list earlier but I realized I better put off my food shopping. I will take it day by day. Wish me luck!

Good evening, everyone! How are you all? I am well. Just relaxing for a little, going to go lay down here in a little bit and maybe read, see if I can fall asleep.

What are your plans for tonight? I have to work, so I don't really have anything planned. DH is out of town. He's teaching, so my sister and her boyfriend took the kids for the night and for the day tomorrow. They went to a county fair and they are going to a amusement park tomorrow. They should have a lot of fun. Tomorrow evening, we all plan on getting together for pizza for dinner.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a nice day today; I have all my windows open with a breeze blowing through. I have to use a lot of paperweights, but it's worth it!

I had a hectic weekend working on my part-time business, but I think I'm caught up for a couple weeks. I came to work this morning hoping for a break, but then two consulting engineers on two different jobs called to drop monkey-wrenches in my two largest, current jobs. No offense to you, Xmastidings, but consulting engineers drive me bananas! LOL

ok, heard that a local coffee shop is looking for part time workers, so I am going to apply and see is I can get in for 10 to 20 hours a week. If they will work with what I am working now I can finally have full time hours between the 2 jobs. Now to find the energy to do it!

I have to run and didn't get a chance to catch up but at least wanted to stop by and say hello!

The kids go back to school today so a change in the schedule for me. I will just have my granddaughter until my grandsons get out of school. I have her signed up with ABCmouse to get a head start on learning. She just started on it last week and doing very well.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be hot here today with a high of 90. Compared to what's coming though, this is nothing!! Not much going on here today. Just have to finish cleaning up the mess that Mom made when she flooded the apartment yesterday. I hope Everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning Christmas pals! Hope everyone had a good weekend! I am trying to catch up on everything I missed here over the weekend, but I'm not sure if I'll manage to read it all!! Our wine tasting went over really well! Wings, Whoppers & Weiners were a hit too! The lake was busy yesterday! Lots of people at the bar to listen to Steve play. It was lots of fun! cheesy Beautiful day!!! Next up...LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Hard to believe!!!! Especially with the high temps we are supposed to have this week - how can it be labor day weekend?!!

HAPPY 99th BIRTHDAY to Brents Grandma! How awesome!!!
