Happy Labour Day, everyone!
Notice the "u" in the word. Strange, eh? Despite currently being in a border city and a nine hour drive away from Canada's capital, I somehow feel even more Canadian when I am at home in Sault Ste. Marie. Kim and I made the drive on Saturday to surprise my mom. Yesterday, we went to my camp/cottage for the day and night. The weather did not quite cooperate, but we had a great time. In fact, the water (at 65F) was warmer than the air (63F)... that made for a refreshing swim!

Anyway, Kim and I will be in the Sault until about Saturday and then we'll make the drive back to Ottawa. It should be a good time here.
Also, I should be able to contribute here a little more often now... my most recent contract at Passport Canada finished and I am now unemployed. It's not a great situation, but I have applied for employment insurance, for which I am eligible. It should provide me with a bit of income until I can find another position. We shall see! Obviously, the good news is that I will now be closer to a computer and be able to follow along with the countdown as we move throughout September and close-in on the debut of the Blossoms thread!
I think that's it for now. Have a great Monday, everyone. I hope you're enjoying the last of the long weekend!
