Well, I cleaned out the attic today because crawling around the attic on a hot day seemed like a great idea. Now, I'm regretting that but the project is done. It is something I've been working on little by little.

I did see the Christmas stuff up there and that really put me in the mood for the season!

find anything worth a million dollars? thye find expensive stuff all the time in storage lockers. Christmas stuff is great too, I should go and see if I need anything new for this year.

Huge fire guts St. Jacobs Farmers Market in Waterloo, Ont.

wow, this is a farmers market about 3/4 hour from here that we often visit. I have taken many a bus load of kids there for day trips too. It is an amazing place full of all the wonderful things you find at a farmers market.
This building had all the good stuff in it and on most days you can hardly move in there for all the people. It is going to be hard on a lot of folks whose business was in there.

That is terrible, I feel for all the people affected.

Well somehow everyone has ended up at my apartment for a cookout. It would have been nice if I had known about this in advance so I could have actually bought the stuff to do one.

Yeah, it was pretty good expect for the fact that I didn't have buns. So everyone had to use bread because no one wanted to go get them.

I have to run to the grocery store tomorrow now though because I just used up all of the groceries that I had bought for the week. LOL!!!

That is terrible, I feel for all the people affected.

there is the town of St Jacobs this is near and they rely heavily on the tourism that the famous market brings in. There are many busloads of people that come to this area every day for the market and then go to the town. They are afraid without the market it will all dry up until it is rebuilt. There is an outlet mall across the street and several hotels. all built around this place. A lot of poeple are going to be hurting because of this fire. A lot of people are nwo without work as well that had a business there.
But one person put a positive spin on it when he said it was a good thing it happened while closed, there may have been hundreds of people in the building when this fast spreading fire hit.
I hope they find out soon what caused it. It is not suspected to be arson.

well I am going to take my itchy self off to bed. My sister who is a nurse put me on benadryl so I hope that will work to relive it .

Good for you!!! When my mom and aunt sold my grandma's house it took me days to clean out the attic there since it had never been done. I found stuff from the people that lived there before my grandparents did.

They is so sad. Hopefully they can get it rebuilt pretty quick!!
