Busy night, like usual. Trying to get LC down tonight was tough because he was full of P & V probably due to anxiety for his first day of school tomorrow. I have my night shift tomorrow, so I will be able to see the boys off on the bus and get those pictures.

Maybe Carl will have a little something to calm my nerves tonight at the Pines. Wait...on second thought....I want to make sure I make it back for my second day on the job tomorrow, so I'm staying away from anything Carl tries to give me.

No, darn it ... they're just not cat people here. I wouldn't mind a kitty on the corner of my desk when it's not too busy.

I really love to wear sweatshirts, so I would love this!!! It just makes me think of fall and winter!

I feel your pain! I have 2 desks in this office & both of them are directly under an AC vent! I always have my sweat shirt on - ESPECIALLY when its 102º outside & the AC never stops!!! :cold: Stay warm!! MORE COFFEEE!!!

Afternoon everyone ... My kids start school tomorrow and there is an open house at my sons school tonight so we are taking him to find his classroom. We have been working on getting back on track with their bedtime/morning routines for school. Got them up nice and early this monring against their will LOL. After the kids get on the school buses DH and I and heading out to do some Christmas shopping for the kids.

So Love this time of the year!!!

This is not a bad idea! The Reds will be on our tv tonight, but maybe I could catch a Christmas movie while working on tomatoes until the hubby gets home/Reds start. You enjoy Miracle on 34th - Excellent movie!!

Don't forget, everyone, I have the jet. Who wants to go to Holiday's for dinner? I think that if I could only choose one veggie to can, I would choose tomatoes. They are so versatile!

I agree sista! I hate getting started & the prep part too!! I washed the tomatoes at lunch, so that's done! I also chopped enough tomatoes for a double batch of fresh salsa. And I agree - I love crock pot cooking. I haven't used it all summer, so I'm really looking fwd to it...AND the house was smelling great at lunch. Today in the crock is Potatoes, celery, carrots, garlic powder, then tenderized round steak & golden mushroom soup!!! :grin:



Hopefully that doesn't happen this week. Maybe you need to drink more wine??? Hee hee!

How did he get them to jack up the A/C in my office so it's blowing cold air directly on me today??? Thanks, Carl, but when I want the "burrrrr"s I'll come and get them ... please don't deliver! The fan has been blowing directly on me for over an hour, and it's driving me nuts. Even with a space heater at my feet. Enough already!

Made, do you ever rest? You are always doing something!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another decent day here with a high of 81. I actually slept over 8 hours last night, so I have some energy today. So I'm going to tackle my kitchen today. I want to clean every thing off of the counters and scrub them down. Then I'll move the dryer, freezer, stove and fridge and scrub the floors. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

To me, a cat is so soothing!

I miss having a kitty around ... sometimes just watching one relaxing is relaxing in itself! A neighbor's cat visits now and then. He'll come trotting up when we get home from work, or if we're outside. He's not the cuddly type, but I enjoy spending a few minutes stroking him. If he's nice and cuddles back, I give him some kitty crunchies. But often as not he turns around and ignores me. He's all cat!

I practically live in sweatshirts at home and on weekends throughout the winter because they're soft and comfortable.

COME ON OVER!!!! The steak was HUGE, so there will be PLENTY for all!!!! :grin:
I love tomatoes!! Especially having canned tomato juice!!! And spaghetti sauce - pizza sauce - tomato sauce - salsa! Mmmmm! Love maters!
