Christmas Countdown - 2013

Hey everyone! Just checking in for the first time in weeks. Just getting over sickenss with kidney stones! so much fun was that!(not) well our leaves are already changing and I need to rake but I am going to put if off a few more weeks! Hope everyone is doing good I have missed my Christmas buddies!

got called into work today at Subway. Not very busy, asked to train the new lady who turned out to be my friend! LOL She told me she was going to apply there but then I never heard back from her. So that was a nice surprise.

I am having a problem with my knee suddenly, I go one way and it wants to go the other! I seem ok with just walking and standing most of the time. Sitting and bending it hurts. When it does go the other way it really gives me a shock of pain, but that leave quickly.
So all you medical specialists, what do you think is wrong with it? Should I go to the doc or just wait it out? You have to know I do not like my doc, but when you have a doc you are not allowed to change because we have such a shortage right now. His diagnoses for most everything wrong with me is , loose weight. :-( Plus, I hate going to the doc, he just might tell me something is actually wrong, and I really do not want to hear that after finally getting a second job!

Hope the knee is feeling better this morning. if not maybe a visit to the dr,s wood be a good idea as you may be doing it more damage walking on it

My Buster is having a rough couple days!! Last night we were both up 3/4 of the night. I had giving him a bath yesterday thinking that usually helps his allergies. Well, not this time. He was actually doing pretty good w/ allergies this year but last night he was itching, scratching, biting, pacing, panting a good part of the night. I thought I was going to be taking him straight to the vet at 7:30 am! I put him outside around 4 am & he fell asleep outside in the 20 min he was out there!! WTH?? I let him in & he did fall asleep for a bit. Then I heard him get up, but he laid back down & at 7am he was sleeping like a baby- he was still sleeping when I left for work! I get home from lunch...he had thrown up at least twice! Once on the bedroom carpet & once on the linoleum in the hallway! In the hallway he had walked through it multiple times, so it was spread all over! So I cleaned carpets & scrubbed floors at lunch. But HE looked like he was feeling much better! After work tonight he slept quite a bit & now he is up & at um! I just fed him a little bit & he gobbled it down, so hopefully it will stay down this time & he SLEEPS good tonight!! I did grab 1 can of an off brand of canned dog food by mistake & I gave that too him last night & today. Maybe that was a mistake. Also I gave him his flea/tick treatment a couple days ago & last month a day or 2 after his flea treatment he got sick. Maybe that has something to do with it too. I dunno, but I hope he gets better & not worse!!! :x

Hope buster is feeling beter this morning sometimes worning can make a dog sick and feel off for day or 2 and again a change of food can make them throw up .. if he doe sit today try a a little boiled chicken and rice

Good morning everyone!
After a weekend full of apartment visits, Kim and I are still empty-handed. The one we REALLY liked had a few downfalls that Kim couldn't part with. For instance, she really wants a cat. It said no pets. The parking situation wasn't ideal and there was no laundry onsite. OK, the laundry was the biggest downfall for me, too. Although I also wouldn't mind a cat... So, we're still looking! Hopefully a few more will pop up this month. I really want to be out of here for November...!

In 50 minutes I will call it a day and travel home. Tonight I'm going to prepare something for sunday school. I'm going to tell the kids a story about "how God loves them" and I have bought styropor hearts and we will color them.
Tomorrow my grandparents are visiting us and we will talk about some important things (I hope I can soon tell you about it).

Good Morning! Just popping in quickly to wish all of you a good weekend. Quiet day planned at home today. Later on my sons and I are going to bake some cookies and cupcakes and then watch Harry Potter and a couple other movies. I am looking forward to just chilling out at home today. Tomorrow I'll be working so I will catch up with you all on Monday.

We think everything is going to be ok with DH's new role but we will know for sure next week. Once again THANK YOU so much for all the support, it means alot!

Seawaters and Gabulldawg I was wondering where you two were, good to see you. Gabulldawg I hope you are on the road to recovery.

I'm off to make a big traditional english breakfast of sausages, bacon, hash browns, eggs, baked beans and mushrooms......

Oh !! I forgot to say I saw my first christmas commercial last night!!!! It was a sofa advert. I think it was the first I saw last year to, I guess they have to advertise early because delivery can take up to 12 weeks.

looks so nice ! He seems to be enjoying himself, my kids always loved playing in the leaves. Our trees are starting to change, especially the maples. Should see a lot of change when I head up towards Ottawa next weekend

I found these at bulk food store yesterday! There are more and will go back and try them when these are tried. They sell them one at a time so you can try them before buying a whole box. I am enjoying pumpkin spice right now, very good!

It has stopped falling now but everything is damp and drippy.
Our thermometer reads 66 degrees here, currently.

It's chilly outside! It's chilly outside! :dance: It actually feels cool inside my house without running the air conditioner. First time since, I don't remember when! It will get in the mid 80's this afternoon, beautiful day! I better enjoy it the temps will be back up in the 90's starting Tuesday.

Morning!!! Tomorrow at 1:44 pm is when Autumn OFFICIALLY begins here in the Northern Hemisphere--YAY!!!!

Today is just usual grocery shopping, giving Missy her bath (I know she hates it but really needs it), a possible trip to Target (love that store way too much!).

Tonight is a home football game (Go Noles) so I'm going to try to stay away from a couple of streets b/c traffic will be CRAZY! Or better yet, just stay indoors. ;-)
