Cheers! I really need to spray paint them soon, hopefully this weekend if I can get some time. On saturday I bought some some old fashioned twine to hang them with. I also bought some scented oil to put on them , it is a lovely christmassy smell called ''Festive! '' Anyway I'm getting there even if slowly.

Mmm...Festive sounds like it smells so good!!

I bet they'll look awesome on the twine!!

Since I golfed with my hubby, uncle & cousin (all men) - I didn't have to tea off or drive - I was just a putter! It was AWESOME! But yes, I can definately throw it further than I can hit it! LOL!!!

good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm not having my best day ever, but I 'spect it'll get better. We went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a few pumpkins, and they were putting out the Christmas stuff, too. There was a nice Christmas display at Belks yesterday, too.

What a beautiful weekend! Lows in the 60's and highs in the lower to mid 80's! I think this is the summer weather for you folks up north and if I could have that all summer long I would take it in a heartbeat! Lovely!

On Saturday Wayne and I went for a short bike ride at the lake then headed to a historic downtown nearby. The streets were crowded! According to the lady at the visitor bureau it was the first nice day we have had all summer long and people were finally getting out of the house. She said it hasn't been like that all summer long. People just don't get outside much in the summer here except for swimming and that's just about it. Serious cabin fever! Kids were outside playing too! It was so nice to walk around outside and feel comfortable!

I actually have my windows opened and getting some cool air in the house. Loving it!

The temps will go back up starting Wednesday to the lower 90's, not too bad. We will cool down again this weekend.

Yesterday I went with the girls from the lake to Ben Franklin! I could have gone crazy in that store! I bought 3 pumpkins, leaf static clings for the windows at the lake, some decorative fall leaves (I set them under a pumpkin at the lake) some leaf garland for the lake, and for my wind chime stand at home. My mums & pansy's were delivered Saturday. Time to start decorating!!! I have never decorated for fall at the lake before, so it was pretty exciting!!!

How fun!!! I wish I had been there to help! I love that store, and the lake!! LOL!!

Afternoon gang, Was in Walmart yesterday and they were starting to fill up some shelves in the lawn and garden area with Outdoor Christmas decorations and indoor Christmas trees. Wont be long now. Michaels Craft store had a few rows of Christmas decor too. Going to back there this weekend to pick up some ornament craft kits for the kids to do.

Absolutely love this time of the year!

web cams for leaves now? A person never has to go anywhere just need a good computer! LOL Of course, this is great for those folks who cannot get out, this way they get to see it too.
But if you are planning a trip, this would be a good way to make sure you actually get to see some color. Thanks Made, I like looking at web cams to see what is going on elsewhere!

Exactly! Last year I started bookmarking every webcam leaf site there was in the southeast. That way I could see the Fall color gradually work it's way down to us. It also made planning the trips to the southeast ski slopes better too. A lot of those websites use to report "faulty" snow reports to get the skiers up there. BUt with the webcams they really cant fib anymore!

Just got off the phone with my wife and found out my bro in law and sis in law are coming this weekend and staying all next week which is good we have not seen them in about a year! I may have to postpone my putting up Halloween decoration until the weekend of October 4th and 5th. We are panning to go pumpkin picking this weekend. So I will get a few and put them in the yard with some hay and a scarecrow. I still have not gotten to the store to get any new Halloween things, I will probably wait until the 4th to do that.But that is fine. I remember in Ga I always hated putting up my Halloween stuff when it was still 85F I ended up just throwing it up days before Halloween when it actually started cooling off. I always leave it up through mid November when they get replaced with Christmas stuff! I cant wait to go shopping for new holiday things(both Halloween and Xmas)!

Hello to everyone on MMC!

I haven't been on for few days and I see I missed A LOT. My family computer in Lithuania desperately needs re-installation and therefore, it works SO slowly that I'm not patient enough to use it. ^^ Anyway, as I am now back in Scotland, I will definitely catch up with all your news everyday. :]

I am finally back at uni, and I have had my first lecture today. Boy, I was more nervous than I had thought I will be. ^^ I'm sure everything will be okey soon as I will be back on track of my university routine. It's strange not to be a fresher though. ^^

I received an academic calendar today, so I already know when my Christmas break starts. I will start looking for tickets soon because when it comes to Christmas time, airlines aim to make a fortune then so the sooner I will get my ticket, the less I will pay. :]

I hope everyone is doing fine. If somehow anyone is facing some struggles, don't worry and breathe. There are ups and downs in life, and everything will turn to be okey in the end.

That's how they market it. It's in a state park about 90 minutes south of Indianapolis, So they put it up so people can check to see if things have started changing before driving down there.

I have NEVER been there. Only heard a lot about it! We were going to spend NYE there last year but those plans fell through. My sisters are talking about going this year during the Holiday season though!!!
