I think the time has come for me to hit the hay. My headache just won't shake and looking at the bright computer screen isn't helping. Just watching Gremlins before bed, love the Christmas music and scenery in it.

I am turning in soon, I had a super busy day and I'm exhausted. I will catch up tomorrow. Just wanted to let you all know I was in the mall this afternoon and was offered a job with Yankee Candle!!! The hiring manager was in the store when I made my purchase, she must have liked how enthusiastic I was about their products. We started chatting and before I knew it she had me fill out an application and offered me a part time job. She wants to start training me on Thursday. I absolutely love that store. I really want to do it and I'm praying that I can handle it. My youngest has her drivers license now so maybe it will work out since the girls are all driving. I will keep you posted!!

Can you not turn down the extra stuff?

I got home around 7 p.m. No, I don't have any say in it. I answer to the traffic people, who answer to the account people, who answer to the clients. So if a client suddenly wants something on a short turnaround, or wants to make last-minute changes at 5:30, it must be done. That's the advertising biz. Today it was a billboard and a last-minute ad. Just seems like it's been happening more frequently lately. To look on the bright side ... at least we've got clients and plenty of work. We aren't twiddling our thumbs and laying people off. But it's so inconvenient sometimes, because you rarely know in advance when you have to stay late. To be fair, the agency I work for is better than most in terms of trying to minimize late work and weekend work. At other agencies, staying late often means past midnight. For us, past 8 p.m. Is unusual.

I have been trying to view it but I keep getting a message saying blocked from country. This sometimes happens, I will try again sometime, so curious to see it.

This morning it was so dark when my alarm went of, it reminded me that the clocks will change at the end of the month! It is raining out but not as cold as I thought it would be. I managed the school run without getting soaked at least!

Rather uneventful day today, a bit of work to do, house work to catch up on, I need to decide on the wallpaper and the paint colour for the walls and I also need to start organising presents for my little ones birthday.

I am off to make breakfast for my youngest and order some groceries.

And the "Home Stretch" can mean only one thing -- that we are near to arrival at the Season!

Finally, a warming trend is upon us and should continue through this week with a chance of rain by week's end.
We have begun this fine day with 60 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.

Big-screen showings of all the Blossoms photos our members have posted to date!
And not only that, all contributors have their names automatically entered for Carl's special door prize drawing. I think it has to do with flowers.
