Slept lousy last night, for some reason. Kept having dreams where I was tired but not able to sleep (on a long flight over the ocean, etc.). Just before I woke up I had just eluded some spies who were chasing me. What the heck!? But it looks like it'll be another gorgeous fall day here, so I'll try to wake up with a cup of strong tea and do my best today.

I didn't sleep well either last night and coincidentally I also had very strange dreams! I hope you rest better tonight!

Are any of you directly affected by the government shut-down? (are we allowed to talk about politics here?)

My day so far has been very busy and I hadn't time to look into the forum. I'll try to read all your posts later. Half of my co-workers were on a meeting outside the office and we had to split all the work between two people.

Ah welll, tomorrow is another day.

At least I got the news, that I will receive my ordered Homeland season one DVD shortly.

I hope things are better at work for you tomorrow! I am so hooked on Homeland! The new season 3 starts here on Sunday and we are counting down the days. I just watched the final episode of season 2 again last night so I could refresh my memory.

It's Wednesday, which means it is I don't want to go to work day. Just trying to get some major relaxing in before going, watching the "It's A Bundyful Life" Christmas episode of Married...With Children, it always makes me laugh. My headache is gone, and it is a sunny warm day, suppose to be in the mid 80's today.

It is going to be sunny and warm today. I walked the dogs nice and early, before it gets too hot. My air conditioner is already running. I am heading out to run a few errands now then back home for chores. I have to wear a white collar polo shirt to Yankee Candle tomorrow so I need to pick one up while I'm out. Not too much else going on today. My daughter has a job interview after school at Crabtree & Evelyn. I hope she gets in there, its a beautiful store. My other daughter has an interview with Coach on Friday. That would also be a nice store to get in to, as long as she doesn't want to buy a new handbag every time she gets a paycheck. So many stores around here are looking for help, they are definitely getting ready for the holiday season!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cloudy day here with a high around 80 degree's. There is a slight chance of rain too. Not to much going on here today. My bedroom closet is being over run with boxes from amazon and other places that I have ordered gifts from. So I'm going to try to condense everything down to just a few boxes until I start wrapping. I also need to do some laundry and my normal daily chores. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

I need to take inspiration from you and start gift shopping !!!!

And my close friend works for the county-praying for her job. She is in Las Vegas right now, though!! Hopefully having FUN!!

I have forgot to post pictures from the new Santas I have got in the last 2 months or so.

The tall one is one I got an incredible deal at Goodwill, and the other is one I won on Ebay it is a Possible Dreams Santa & Rudolph.

If you see he still has his original tags from JCPenney still on him.

Rudolph's nose really glows!!!!

I can't wait to decorate these around the house.

Evening everyone! Just got back from the school run and the children have got on Shrek The Halls

I received my first set of Christmas shop coupons today! It really is starting!!

Good evening!
I am turning in soon, I had a super busy day and I'm exhausted. I will catch up tomorrow. Just wanted to let you all know I was in the mall this afternoon and was offered a job with Yankee Candle!!! The hiring manager was in the store when I made my purchase, she must have liked how enthusiastic I was about their products. We started chatting and before I knew it she had me fill out an application and offered me a part time job. She wants to start training me on Thursday. I absolutely love that store. I really want to do it and I'm praying that I can handle it. My youngest has her drivers license now so maybe it will work out since the girls are all driving. I will keep you posted!!

Congrats on the job at Yankee Candle, I have heard they are a great company to work for. I have been trying to get a job at their home office in Deerfield, MA for the last few years.
More importantly, did you smell the Turkey & Stuffing candle while you were there? cheesy

As usual my country is lagging behind ;-). The second season just started last sunday. But because I didn't see the first season it doesn't make much sense to watch the second. Besides it runs very late, which is a no-go for me. I'm sure I'll be hooked on this show real soon. The theme of it is right up my alley.

One of my friend just told me about another series called "The blacklist" which just started in the united states. Do you know this one? Guess it will take a year or more until this one runs in German or Swiss TV channels.

Yesterday I heard my first radio commercial for the symphony Christmas concert in the nearest larger city. That put a smile on my face on the drive home! The first Dixie Stampede Christmas commercial on tv is what gets DD & me to squealing & dancing. Those usually start in October too!
