I also plan to head to Hallmark for the ornament premiere!! I will try & stick to one favorite ornament this time around ;) There are just too many amazing and beautiful ones-so hard to resist!

I cannot believe that Wayne and I have yet to visit Hallmark since they have put out their ornaments this year! We need to get over there. Have fun and go ahead, buy lots of stuff! :D

"The Tiny Tree"

I mentioned this as a childhood memory of mine in an earlier post...

For Festive Spirit & anyone else who wanted to watch this sweet cartoon!!

I just watched this and you won't believe it but I remember it now! When the little rabbit enters the house and remarks about the decorations I just suddenly remembered watching it as a child! Isn't that weird !

Thanks Snowflake!

Good Morning my Christmas Friends!

My granddaughter will ask me from time to time if I can get my animated Santa out that plugs in and moves when turned on. I had it out yesterday for her. We had let our tortoise out for a "run" around the house which he enjoys very much. It was funny because he was making his rounds "running" all over the place and suddenly paused right in front of the Santa staring at him in awe. He stood there for a couple of minutes moving his head up and down looking at Santa then continued on his way trucking around the house. I could not stop laughing because he looked like he was really admiring him. He's a cute little guy that has no fear of anything and will walk right up to our dogs, cats and us trying to see what we are all up to. The dogs and cats seem to like him and will hang out with him.

I hope you all have a Very Merry Day!

lol wish I could have seen this! it reminds me so much of our tortoise back home. She is such a character and gets along with all the cats too, in fact I think she thinks she is the boss of them all LOL! Also, whoever says they are slow are so wrong. Ours will be in one spot one minute and then in another room the next!!!

Good morning!

Happy lunch time everyone!

I don't have much to say today. It is very rainy here and everyone is in a bad mood. Two of my co-workers are on holiday and we actually have work for two extra co-workers, but don't seem to find any.:-)

Afternoon Cetacea! Sounds like your co workers need a little Christmas cheer!

Good morning, MMC!!

Thank God it's Friday is right!!

What does your day look like?

What are your weekend plans?

Today, I need to answer some e-mails, do laundry, and other housework. Our deck finally got stained, so I also need to finish moving everything back out there from the garage.

This weekend, Adrian leaves for a business trip, so I'll be busy helping him get packed and getting his truck loaded up and ready to go.

I also plan to head to Hallmark for the ornament premiere!! I will try & stick to one favorite ornament this time around ;) There are just too many amazing and beautiful ones-so hard to resist!

It's supposed to be a rainy & cool Fall weekend- love it!!

Hope you & yours have a blessed day!!

Afternoon!

Well I hope I didn't miss any big news yesterday. A friend visited me yesterday and we spent the day catching up. It was good to have some company and a chat with someone. It can get pretty lonely here when you don't really know anyone.

My nephew (on DH's side) is having his birthday party tomorrow so we will pop round for a quick visit. Only planning to stay a couple hours and then head back home to enjoy the Saturday evening in as I'll be at work on Sunday.

That is pretty much our weekend.

Whatever your plans , have a fun, safe and relaxing weekend everybody!

I can just picture this! Someone could build a children's storybook from that ...

Cetacea! You asked a couple of days ago whether we got Blacklist here. Well I was just looking through the TV guide and it premieres tonight on Sky! I will have to check it out.

Looks like our weather will be gray and rainy for a few days. No big plans for the weekend, but that's a good thing ... I need the time to work on Christmas gifts, address labels, shopping lists, and other seasonal stuff. I haven't had much time in the evening. Oh, and I guess we'll watch the Red Sox's first post-season game tonight!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a hot one here with a high in the mid 80's and high humidity. So I'm going to spend most of the day outside of course at our fall festival. Well can I really call it a fall festival if it's hotter right now than it was most of the summer? Probably not. So I'll call it by it's official name. Riley days. It's in honor of the author James Whitcomb Riley who was born and raised here in town until he was in his early 20's. His boyhood home is now a museum. There is also a big statue of him outside the courthouse and the kids from the local elementary schools will have a parade through the center of town today to the statue where they will all lay flowers. So I have to go watch my niece in the parade. I'm sure I will also enjoy some good food while I'm there too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I agree! He moves rather quickly through the house. He likes to run around the dog crate over and over and over. I call it the Indy 500 when he does that and come to think of it, he does take left turns around it just like they do in race car driving! I think he is in training for the big day! :D

I don't understand our weather lady. Why does she keep describing today as a "beautiful day with a high temperature of 90 degrees and humid"? Huh? Over the weekend it will be highs in the 70's. Now that is beautiful!

CAH- That's a cute story about your tortoise!! I'll try to reply to your email tonight!!

Snowflake- You better add a nap on to your list if you aren't taking one now!!!! Tell Adrian to have a safe trip and have fun at hallmark!!! Wish I could be there to go with you!!!

HMG- Hope today goes well and that you love it there!!!

Seawaters- Praying for you. ((hugs))

Wait, did I just read on facebook that it's snowing at Jeff's house? Who's up for a roadtrip????
