Christmas Countdown - 2013

hi everyone.....

been to church today for the Thanks Giving Service...and one of Kandice´s preschool/kindergarten teachers is going into retirement, so the church honored her....after that, the congregation chopped the veggies and fruits that the people brought for the sercie decoration and soup and fruit salad was made of it....it was beautiful....

after that....kandice, mom and I went to the local small zoo, who celebrated their annual autumnfest.....they offered plenty of activities for the kids, such as pumpin carfing.....crafting animals outta horse chestnuts and many other things....the highlight again of course, was walking through the Euro/Asian wild cage with some Mufflons and Deers inside that come to You and will allow You to pet them.......I took a pic of a doe....and she was trying to examine my cellphone.....too cute

Good afternoon MMC!
I spent my morning running errands and doing chores. I'm cooking an early dinner right now so my daughter can eat something before she heads in to her job.
I was off from work today but go back in for a few hours tomorrow. Yesterday we watched another video and filled out more paperwork. Afterwards they sent us out on the floor. It was exciting but a little stressful too. There is still so much more I have to learn about the products. There are tons of fragrances I need to become familiar with, accessories and home decor items and all of the flameless products too. And I had a hard time remembering all of the promotions! Oh and they still have to train me on the register. I guess it's just going to take some time to learn everything.
It is a cool and dreary day here, cloudy with a chance of showers. Feels like Fall.

I am watching some TV and playing some games on facebook....Kandice´s autumn vacation has started on Friday.....two weeks no school....oh we gon have fun....I love it to have her with me.......I gotta go see a doctor tomorrow morning....my pops will be there to watch Kandi....and then the day is ours.....actually the next two weeks are ours

Hey gang! Been a few days since I've been here last...but we had a busy few days....

We had to go back to the dr. on Wednesday for the baby....a little checkup...nothing major....and then Thursday I had ballgame duty...when I got home...my wife was in tears and our oldest dog was terribly sick....we had to take him to the vet and have him put down. It's ok. I don't know if many of you remember, but it's been two years since he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure...and that's quite a long time to stay alive with that. He was 11...

He was there when I coached my first game, he was there when I coached my last. He was there when we met Dr. Wifey...and he was there when I proposed. He was there when we found out we were going to have a baby...and he was there when we brought her home. It was almost like he was just waiting to see her get here....to know she was ok and that we were going to be ok. I hated having to make that decision, but that is part of my job as his companion....to make the difficult decisions that will keep him comfortable. It was peaceful, we got to say goodbye....and Dr. Wifey kissed him as he went to Rainbow Bridge.

It has been a tough few days, but my brother and his wife came down to meet the baby....so that has kept us busy. Little girl is growing like a weed...and between chaning diapers, feeding, and holding...I've been swamped....but I sure do love it.

Sorry to hear of your dogs passing, you are in my thoughts.

I miss the days of being a new parent, the exhaustion, but the excitement of every morning seeing the baby more than made up for it.

It's a rainy, quiet Sunday here. (Well, it became quiet after the fellow stopped running around the street here on his motorbike ...) Normally we'd get a bite of lunch out somewhere, but today we just feel like staying put on reheating leftovers from Friday night's pizza. I was busy earlier doing some video editing, but then I sat down to place some online merchandise orders, and now I'm just hanging out with you. It's a good place to be! Speaking of which, our 19th anniversary is this week. Time flies when you're in love!

Happy anniversary a few days early!!!

Wow, a quiet day here on MMC, I usually have to go through 10-15 pages to catch up. I only had to go through 3.5.

My Bengals beat the Patriots, 13-6, it is very satisfying since I was at a party where everyone else was a Patriots fan. I was rocking my Bengals t-shirt and hat, everyone was quite shocked when they saw I was a Bengals fan. The local sports shows around here are still in shock that the Bengals won, so many are making excuses for why the Pats lost. I also told my wife it was very cruel to make me go to a party where everyone was the enemy teams fan.


So that caps off a very successful sports weekend for me.

Not much else went on around here today.

Good Sunday evening, everyone!

We've had a busy day. It was Homecoming at church, so it was a packed house. Some family I didn't recognized filled our pew! Grrr. I tried not to give them the stink-eye while we were in church, though...LOL. We had a HUGE meal after church (which upset my delicate tummy), then we took off to Savannah and stopped at Sam's Club. [Happy Dance] I got my gummi bears! I got my gummi bears! [/Happy Dance]!! Two 6 pound bags!!! Don't worry, I share them with our dog, Lulu.
