I just realized Christmas is on a Wednesday. Surely Carl won't close. Is there a better way to wrap up Christmas Day than a trip to the Pines? I bet he'll throw one heck of a party!

I heard he was throwing an extra special Christmas party the Wednesday before Christmas and has a surprise more amazing than any of us could ever try to guess.
Carl is off to spend Christmas with his family and will actually be closing the Pines this year because it is Christmas day.
He is opening it however the following Tuesday for New Years Eve party which will also include a really big fireworks display.

I guess even Carl needs to go home for Christmas.

Hello everyone! I have been on the past few days and posted elsewhere, ran out of time and did not make it on here!

Today my granddaughter, mother, aunt and I went to a pumpkin patch that included a hay ride. We had a picnic while we were there and took home several pumpkins. We had a blast!

Over the weekend Wayne and I went to World Market and bought ourselves a new Christmas Tree decoration. I should have taken pictures of the store itself, they had lots of nice decorations. I will try to do that next time.

Here is our new ornament: (He does have another eye! There is a glare on the glass).

Nice, I like it!!!!

You know that you and are alike! Of course it had to be something with Santa! They had a few others that were nice too with reindeer, snowman and a Christmas Tree. We have one that is similar to the one with a tree so I would love to get the snowman and reindeer one!

My hubby was pretty happy too. Now my brother in MA, I'm sure - was not! Here are some pics our neighbors from the lake sent to us of their dog (Wheaten Terrier) after the Bengals win. He is such a good boy - I felt bad for the guy. He had no choice in his outfit!!! Ha ha ha!
