Sounds like an awfully painful thing to go through. But you should have the peace of mind that they've excised all the atypical cells. That should be worth it in the end.
Thank you, Sugar! I had a mole removed and then the biopsy showed that the cells were atypical which meant that it could potentially be precancerous. I had to go back a few days ago so that they could cut deeper and around the area that I already had removed. I had to get deep stitches and then stitches on the top. It took about 45 minutes to get all of the stitches and I think I have around 30 of them.
