Sounds like an awfully painful thing to go through. But you should have the peace of mind that they've excised all the atypical cells. That should be worth it in the end.

Thank you, Sugar! I had a mole removed and then the biopsy showed that the cells were atypical which meant that it could potentially be precancerous. I had to go back a few days ago so that they could cut deeper and around the area that I already had removed. I had to get deep stitches and then stitches on the top. It took about 45 minutes to get all of the stitches and I think I have around 30 of them.

How many Trick or Treaters do you guys usually get at your house? Depending on the weather, we have anywhere from 95-135. I usually try to sit on the porch to pass out the candy, but if it is too cold I am staying in and I will let them knock.

Wow! If we get a couple dozen, that's a big night for us. We usually have plenty of leftovers. One year we boxed it up and sent it to an online group that forwarded it to military personnel in the field.

The only painful part of the entire process was the numbing shots. I was given three. It burns badly for about five seconds and then fades away. I do have peace of mind, though! If I would have left it alone then it would be in the back of my mind and worrying me every day.

Hey, leftovers aren't such a bad thing - you can snack!! That's such an amazing thing that you did! I am sure the military personnel appreciated some delicious treats. That's a wonderful idea and it would be great if more people did that! You're such a good person!

I'm having one of those days where I don't feel like getting started on my work. I just can't seem to get motivated enough to actually sit still and type a paper. I cannot wait to graduate in December! I am so tired of doing petty papers.

I've decided not to go to my actual graduation. It is so late this year. Most of my friends will graduate on December 13th and I will not be graduating until December 20th. I don't want to risk getting sick right before Christmas, nor do I want to risk driving in bad weather. It's always unpredictable as to whether or not there will be a big snow. Plus, that's the time of year where everyone is sick with colds or viruses. I don't want my family to sit there in a crowd with people sneezing or coughing around them. Everyone would be sick for Christmas!

I guess I'm going to force myself to start writing. When I need a break I will pop back in!

I'm so excited to be back. Missed you all!

Made, I was a little awol from here for a little while, and I must have not picked up on what's going on with your foot. What happened, did you get hurt or something?

I have a stress fracture in my right foot. So I'm in an air cast boot until at least the 5th. Probably longer because I haven't been very good about keeping it on and not walking on my foot.

Good morning everyone. Last night we went to out town's annual Halloween event but it was raining so we didn't stay long...kind of a bust. But, there are plenty of spooky events planned for this week so it's alright.

Just been playing some Memory with Kandice. We went out to feed some ducks....suddenly young swans (they were still greyish) came along as well......they were huuuuuuge.....and two Goose (or is it Geese) came by to visit too.....they were too cute.....Kandice had a ball!!!

Now we have a candle lit in the living room....the house is clean and we already had dinner.....the dish washer is running and we are just doing nothing. In less than an hour we will watch Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows I ......ooooh I love this movie

Good morning to everyone!

It's the Sunday before Halloween ... just over two weeks before the Season begins ... up to my elbows in playlists for Kringle Radio ... time is speeding by already! It's exhilarating and frightening at the same time. There never seems to be quite enough time to savor all the sweetness of the Season while it's here.

Many of the employees at my office have young children, so on Halloween afternoon the office is holding a costume parade and desk-to-desk trick-or-treat for the kiddies. It should be a lot of fun seeing the costumes and handing out candy! I'll be handing out candy here at home, too, that evening, but we usually don't get many doorbells.

That sounds like so much fun!

Good morning, MMC! I guess I should say good afternoon because it is almost noon here.

Today is going to be a relaxing Sunday for the most part. My team plays at 4 PM so I am looking forward to watching the game. The season has been disappointing so far, but we won the last couple of games so I am hoping that we're making a comeback. I have to write a 30-50 page paper that is due tomorrow evening, I didn't even start yet! I am very experienced at writing papers by now, though, so I think I could have it done within a couple of hours.

I cannot believe that Halloween is this week. We are getting so close to Christmas and the season - I love it! How many Trick or Treaters do you guys usually get at your house? I only get around 30 if that many, we have several events going on where the kids can have fun and collect candy. There is a real push to keep kids off the streets and only go where it is safe, which is why we get so few. I have stuff ready for the kids in this area so by 7pm they have gone home and I turn off the lights and relax for the night.

Everyone talking about handing out candy. I'm going to miss that this year. I'm going to stay home instead of going to my sisters to hand it out there while she takes my niece's around. That way I'm off my foot. We never get any here in my apartments.

you could dress up as big foot, take your recliner outside and hand them candy without ever standing up.
