Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wide awake at 5 am. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the time change in the fall?

Nancy and I had a great date night. We got involved cleaning out my closet first, so we were late getting the kids to my mom's. We decided to get some takeout and watch a movie at home, instead. Nice!

After Elizabeth's Nutcracker practice yesterday, we had supper at Nancy's parents'...I had the first steak I've eaten in a year and a half. Wow, it was good!

I hate both time changes. I miss the days of Indiana being one of the oddballs that didn't observe daylight savings time.

I love it too!
The girls all had the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake for dessert. I couldn't taste it because it isn't gluten free. It looked ridiculously good!

I've never tried that one, but have to sometime we go there. Our Starbucks here, which I'm sure a lot or all of them do, have the cheesecake in their stores. I get cheesecake a lot of the times when we stop. I just ordered a sampling of cheesecakes - the original, chocolate, blueberry, and I think raspberry too for Christmas. I can't wait!

Well my streak of horrible betting on horse racing continues. I think my horse is still in the third turn and the winner crossed the line about 15 minutes ago.

It has been a long day here, so glad I can turn the clock back an hour and get that extra sleep. The house is a mess, I hope no one comes to visit, but I know that is usually when they come! LOL Good thing it is late and most will be going to bed soon.
Had a great day of celebrating my sons 26th birthday.
I got the cakes done to a point where all I have to do is add the decorations, they do not have to be delivered until 3:30 tomorrow so that gives me lots of time to finish them.
Going to be a cold night, will feel like -9c (15f), time to get another blanket!

Good morning all!! Getting ready to get started on the day. Yesterday was great my DD's soccer team won their league so they get to move up to the higher division in the spring!!! They were so happy, they drenched their coach in ice water. The problem was that we were an hour from home and he did not have any dry clothes He is just a big kid anyway. He is from Birmingham England and the girls just love him

Well off to get my coffee then start on some house work, so that this afternoon I can start on my decorating!!!

Good morning! Soon afternoon.
We are going to my Fathers Birthday today.
He is 69 years old! ¢¾

Busy days here! Today it's only 4 weeks until we move!
So much to do! We have a big house!
And we are moving into a smaller house!
So there is a lot of things we have to give away...

My daughter has started on some more medicine - shots (injections?) in her thigh.
Got her first one at the hospital on Thursday.
And now I have to set them twice a week! And I hate needles!
Im setting the first one tomorrow, and my hands
are shaking just thinking about bringing that needle into her skinny thigh!
Guess it will be easier with time....?

Im thinking about you guys! Miss spending time here!
I will try to reed the last pages here ¢¾

As for your daughter, God Bless! She is such a little fighter! As for you, your such a great mom and you're so strong. You will be able to do it. Like you said, it will just take some time. I continue to say prayers for you all.

[Holiday]

Good morning all you fellow Christmas crazies!!! Up this morning trying to get the kids moving so we are not late today.

Going to be a busy day as usual. I work until 5, DD gets done basketball tryouts at 5:30, then she has soccer practice at 7 till 8:30. Sometime in here I need to feed them some supper:thumbsup:.
I would love to work on my decorating some more tonight but I will just have to wait and see if I have any energy left I've got 2 naked trees up , the lights look great but boy do they need some ornaments.

I've got about 2 hours between dropping kids off at school and when I need to be at work, looks like some window shopping.

It's a chilly morning in Ohio! That wind! Brrrrr!!! I'm at work, but I have the Hallmark Christmas movie on "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" - that makes Monday a little merrier!! :grin: I wish they were on all day! Ah well.... I can make it until 2:00 when the next one comes on. HA! Here's wishing you all a GREAT day!!

My sister was the same way when she had to start giving my niece shots. It does get easier with time and your daughter will get better about it. If she is having problems with it, you may ask your doctor about getting a prescription for numbing cream.

That numbing cream is the best stuff. It may be a little different then what we use in the hospital, but when we use it to start IV's and use it for different procedures, the kids do very well then. Good suggestion, Made.

Good morning!
It's going to be chilly today with temperatures in the upper 40's.
Not too much going on here today. The girls all have to work for a few hours and my husband will be working inside the house today. He finally finished putting up molding last night and will do some spackle work today. I hope he gets a lot done. I really can't wait until he starts to paint. He's getting closer!
Not a lot going on for me today. I will be going to a local craft fair later. I hope to pick up a couple of new Christmas decorations. Other than that it will be a typical day of errands and chores.
