All of my blood work came back from the cardiologist. Cbc perfect, kidney function perfect, and thyroid levels perfect. Now all that's left is the testing!

That is excellent news, jennifer! Praying the tests come back perfect, too!! {{{HUGS}}}

Good morning! It is such a chilly morning here in PA. Right now it has warmed up to 35 degrees. This morning when I woke up, it was 28 degrees out!

Nothing special planned for today, except I finally get these stitches out - woo hoo! I don't have class either, which is a plus.

I'm glad you are getting your stitches out! Have a great day!

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you? I am doing well. Just doing some things around the house, catching up with you guys here, and keeping the kids entertained.

What are you all up to today? Not much going on here. DH is working overtime today. EA has here 4 year check up at 2:30 with the Pediatrician, so while we're there, I'm hoping they will give them their flu shots. They haven't received them yet this year and they've both been working through colds already, so they need to get them. The flu season is here!

Well, I am off to get some more things done, then get them to the doctors. I will check back in later. I am hoping to catch one of the Hallmark movies this evening. I fell asleep last evening, when I was planning on watching them all evening!

Have a great rest of your afternoon! Talk later. Prayers for all of you, your families, and furbabies! God Bless and keep smiling!

Hope EA's appointment goes well!!

Have a great day, sugar!!

It's a chilly morning in Ohio! That wind! Brrrrr!!! I'm at work, but I have the Hallmark Christmas movie on "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" - that makes Monday a little merrier!! I wish they were on all day! Ah well.... I can make it until 2:00 when the next one comes on. HA! Here's wishing you all a GREAT day!!

What a coincidence - I was listening to Andy Williams' "It's Most Wonderful Time of the Year" when I read this post. cheesy

Have a great day, Holiday!

Good afternoon everyone. Just a quick visit for an update on my mom. Hospice called the family in last week but it was a false alarm. She is stable and still at home but someone has to be with her 24/7. Cancer stinks.

On a happier note; SiriusXM satellite radio has announced their schedule for Christmas music stations. Two will startup Tuesday, Nov 12. Here is the link:

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Have a blessed day.

I'm so sorry your mom is having such a difficult time, my friend, but I know you're glad for any more time you can have with her. Prayers continuing for her and your entire family.

And thanks for the SiriusXM update! I was thinking over the weekend that it was time for you to let us know when the Christmas music is supposed to start. Thanks!

Just checking in with you all. My husband had his shoulder surgery which turned out to be more extensive than we had thought. He's had a very rough few days with pain. He seems to be turning the corner tonight, thank goodness.
xmastidings- I am sorry for your loss~ always tough, but particularly poignant as we approach the season of family traditions.
I'll try to get caught up a bit as I relax and watch Hallmark Countdown to Christmas!

I'm sorry your husband's surgery ended up being more extensive than you had thought and that he had some very rough days - praying his recovery is faster than expected!

Have a MERRY day, momnan!

Sorry, Xmas. That is frustrating. I went to transfer all the music over from my iPod, that is super old, to my iPhone, which holds a ton of music, so I thought I would keep it all on here. When it said it had synced, it was a gone. It of course erased it all, plus, my iTunes account is different now too, so everything is gone. Talk about not being happy!

Oh, what a horror story! It would be worth buying some portable storage and backing up all your music (and pictures and anything else that could digitally vanish). I don't trust bits and bytes to stay put!

I agree, cancer stinks! My prayers continue for your mom and you and your family, mgramsey!

Thanks for the update. Prayers for strength as you go through all this with your family. I agree from my own experience and my family's---cancer stinks.

Meceka, thanks for the card. I thought of you as I read The Devil in the White City. It seemed like a book you would like. I finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it!

You're welcome, Seawaters! I know I've looked at the book you mentioned and it did sound interesting. I'll have to check it out next time I am at the library! Currently I am reading the 9th book in the Blackbird Sisters mysteries by Nancy Martin, "Little Black Book of Murder". "The Darling Dahlias and the Texas Star" by Susan Wittig Albert, book 4 in the Darling Dahlias series and "The Last Word" by Lisa Lutz, book 6 in the Izzy Spellman series are up next. I made the mistake of passing the new release shelves when I was returning books last week and just had to check them out. Addicted!

Good morning! Sighhhhhh....I was so looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend for a change. But, instead, I woke up to having to repair a leaking sink and I just got a phone call from my brother and he just informed me that they just found my father passed away on his couch. My brother stopped down there to visit on a whim and made the discovery. He's down there at the house with the police right now, so I'm going to head over and consult and provide comfort for my grandfather (who is 95 and my father was his only child).

Always something.....I'll talk to ya all later tonight~

Oh, xmastidings, I am so very sorry to hear this - my prayers are with you and your family! {{{HUGS}}}

Pfft who wakes up at 5:30am on her day off? This chick right here!!!!!
How the heck is everyone? I, myself am fantastic

Little update since July-- good tidings have been brought to my life this whole year! Amazing what happiness can do for you:)
- bought a 2013 Mitsubishi lancer, sports edition.. Woohoo traded in the g5 towards it, yes I feel a little sassy when I drive it LOL
- found a brand new, basement suite out in the country everything included!... For me & Ryan to live in
- Ryan moved here at the end of September (yay! No more long distance)
- now have a set schedule at work, which is mon-fri!! Still a fair bit of hours, but am thankful I now have a job that allows me to keep my bills paid & food in my belleh
- am very happy!
Things have been going really well for me (finally!) in all aspects of my life! Relationship great, family awesome, friends superb.. Life is just good! Now to get back on track with somewhere I have missed dearly in my crazy busy life! MMC!!!!

Went to port yesterday to pick up a little something near and dear to my heart... mom handed down her beautiful 7ft Christmas tree to me!!!
She's had it since I can remember and it's always been her pride & joy come christmas time! My grandma may end up a bit ticked and I know my sister was upset.. They've both been vying for it for as long as I can remember & I won't lie, I'm not completely innocent either when it comes to "who gets THE TREE?"... Somehow I get the honours (I am the oldest daughter.. That has to count for something right?), might just have to arm my home with security cameras & the occasional ninja now though.. Keep their pesky little mits off it! Hahaha
My mom usually went a little Clark griswald on it (yes a billion sparkling lights LOL).. So hopefully I can try to keep up with her tree decorating standards hahaha! Poor boyfriend won't be able to see the telly anymore if I follow mas footsteps muahaha, wait maybe that's a good thing!!!! Oh who am I kidding, I wanna watch the tube too!!! :d
I was planning on putting it up today, but I may wait till next weekend seeing as the little amount of decorations I do have for the tree... Are packed away in the storage closet:/ ( and I gotta pick up more!!)

How's everyone else been?

It is so good to hear from you Britt! It is even better to hear that all is going well with you!!!

Good afternoon, MMC!

I can't seem to stop yawning - time for more coffee!

Be MERRY!!!

I went to Outback last night and our waitress wished us a happy holidays after we paid the check. The shopping center it was in had their Christmas banners on the light poles in the parking lot too. I guess the season is approaching faster than I thought!

I love it!

And welcome to the Countdown thread! cheesy

Good afternoon all! We woke up to half and inch of snow on the ground this morning. That made this Monday morning back from a 2week break a liitle bit better! Work has been a madhouse today though as I knew it would be. things should calm down as the week wears on though. The snow should all be melted by Weds when we are suppose to get up to the mid 50's. There are 30 percent chances of snow the rest of the week though at night time when the temps ar ein the low 30's. The leaves are long gone though:(

My dawgs won the game on sat just barely but they pulled it off! We play Appalachain State this sat and then the week after that I think it's UK(Kentucky) now that should be a good game...so the season is slowly coming to an end. I have set my DVR to record a lot of movies this week. Tonight at midnight Karoll's Christmas comes on,it is one of Louanne's favorites and it is happy one minute and a tear jerker the next,so I really don't know if I am ready to see it yet. The reoccurring theme in it they play I'll be home for Christmas" song and even in the best of years it made my throat lump up,I know this year I will be sobbing. I may watch it later in the month but I have it set to record nonetheless! I hope everyone has had a great Monday and I will hopefully be around more at the office this week! Have a great evening everyone!

Hey guys, how is your monday so far? Mine is pretty much over. I just put the boys to bed and I am going to chill out infront of the tele for the rest of the night.

It's been a hectic day. The boys and I had dentist appointments today. I am so glad its all over with now, I always dread the dentist. My eldest is back to school tomorow after mid term holidays. Their next school break will be two weeks over christmas!!!! Wow!! Its so exciting to think that it s only 7wks away!

I woke up this morning to the first frost of the season. Its been so cold today. I wonder if there is a chance of snow soon. Hey I forgot to mention that I booked a delivery date for our christmas tree, november 30th! In the meantime, I need to finish my deep clean and annual declutter of the house so its all ready for a christmas makeover! :)

Ok well I hope you all have a good day but for now it's goodnight from cold england xxx

You better watch out one of these days I'm just going to show up at your door with my suitcase.

Hope EA's appointment goes well and that the kids are braver than me when it comes to getting the shots.

The ended up getting the flu mist, so DS didn't have to get any shots, but EA did get three other vaccines. She was so brave - no crying and she held so still. She always does so well!

Maybe you could suggest something? At least the music that I had lost, at the time, I had downloaded from free sites. Now, the stuff that I download, are directly from iTunes, so I pay for it all. Thanks, MerryCarey!
