I hear you on this HMG. I had a doctor's appointment in Chico today (45 min. one way). First we went to breakfast, then to the doctor, then to the pharmacy, then to Costco to get gas, pick up the rolls for the Boy Scouts dinner on Wednesday, and do some shopping. Then to Lowes, then to Home Depot. Then down to the Elks Lodge to drop off the rolls, then to Walmart!!! What a day! Take care of yourself!

You have been busy!!

Sorry, Xmas. That is frustrating. I went to transfer all the music over from my iPod, that is super old, to my iPhone, which holds a ton of music, so I thought I would keep it all on here. When it said it had synced, it was a gone. It of course erased it all, plus, my iTunes account is different now too, so everything is gone. Talk about not being happy!

All of my blood work came back from the cardiologist. Cbc perfect, kidney function perfect, and thyroid levels perfect. Now all that's left is the testing!

I dread the dentist too. People laugh at me, but once when I had a cavity, I had one when I was 26 and I had it filled, I dreaded that more than sitting through getting my epidural during labor. I'm not kidding. I hate the dentist!

That's so exciting about your tree! Enjoy it!

I'm the same. I have been obsessing over it recently and just wanted it over with! it sounds crazy but it was just in the back of my mind all the time. It's over now and I can get on with Christmas plans lol.....

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts, well wishes and prayers....It truly means the world to me. I have had sort of a rough patch this year as a hole, to which I have only mentioned to a few of you here...

So, this sudden news, only added to the weights that are already on my back. However, I am an optimist and I do believe in a higher power....

My youngest brother is handling most of the work, while I am providing comfort for my grandfather. It appears that my father donated his body to science, so there will be no funeral, no viewing and no expenses. I look at it like this, if that's what he wanted, so be it. Ironically, my brother just called me 30 minutes ago and told me that Johns Hopkins just called him and asked him if they could have his brain. That's a really weird phone call to get.....

I take it all in stride, Well, I guess it's all in the name of science.... So, they keep his body for awhile, cremate it, and return the ashes in 6-8 weeks. After that who knows. My brother is going to handle the estate and everything else and that's fine with me. Dealing with all this stuff, is one major pain in the can...

I'm tired, haven't had much sleep so I'm going to see Mr. Ambian tonight. I'll see you all tomorrow...nighty-nite~:wink:

Good morning everyone! It looks like it is going to be party cloudy and partly rainy here. Sorry I didn't show up here last night. My flatmate turned 25 so few other people in the house and me arranged him a little surprise. He had birthday cake as well so we were sitting, chatting and eating yummy cake until midnight. It was nice of him. ^^ Also, I bought my ticket to Lithuania yesterday too. Unfortunately, I will be staying in Scotland on Christmas. Tickets were too expensive for the Holiday. Anyway, I'm going home for New Year so I'm happy I will be able to celebrate at least New Year with my family. I'm getting ready to go to the campus, and I will see you all in the evening. Have a nice day!

I would actually suggest the same thing. Or better yet, do both. That's what I do. I back up to an external hard drive and burn all of my music to disc's too. That way if a disc gets broken or scratched, I still have another option. Plus most of mine is also on my kindle and on a micro sd card for my phone. (something you can't do with apple) So I would just say back it up as many places as you can.

Oh it's also all on my complete computer back up disc's that I burn every 3 months or so.

Morning Victoria, I am sorry you are not able to go home for Christmas. I understand how that must feel. My family also live abroad and I remember the first couple Christmases when I couldn't make it back due to the high cost. Like you said, atleast you can look forward to seeing them for new year.

Harlowe is doing pretty good, thanks. We miss each other, but Adrian works from home (unless he's traveling) so lately it's been ok =] She's very happy to see me when I walk through the front door, though
