Christmas Countdown - 2013

Afternoon guys....or morning to my friends across the pond. Happy Pines Day!! Big night at the Pines later I imagine!!

I am just getting a few things done online while sipping a hot mug of Christmas tea and Mistletoe Over Manhattan is on the TV. As I am typing this I just saw the Christmas ad for Debenhams, I have been looking out for it!

Walked to the shops after dropping my eldest to school this morning. There are a lot more Christmas things out. I have seen a few things I want to get, so perhaps next week! It's a big week here. A lot of places are switching on their lights and decorations for the season at the end of this week. The city switches on Friday and I think my town does to.

Well I hope you all have a great day. I am just finishing up something on the PC and then I have a few things to get done around the house before picking my son up from school.

See you all at the Pines tonight! I hear there is a special surprise entertainment in store.........

Sorry Snowflake, I walked away for a few minutes last night and Tapatalk wouldn't let me log back in when I got back!
Anyway, Maggie is still coughing. The poor thing. I am supposed to call the doctor back when she finishes her medicine. She has three more doses left. She's taking it every other day so I will be calling soon. It looks like she may be going back for another xray of the lungs. I will keep you posted, xo.

Yeah, the whole site went down for about an hour last night. Coach was the last person to post before it happened so I blame him!!!! LOL!!!!

Good Morning MMC Gang!

As life would have it, I'm too busy to check the forum everyday. so this is just a short notice that I'm healthy and as already said very busy.

Unfortunately I doubt life will calm down any until right before christmas. So I'll drop in if I have time. Just to share some of the happy things that happened the last two or three weeks:

My work team and I celebrated the birth of a healthy little daughter to one of my co-workers. Her name is Aylin (which is the turkish version of Eileen, but they pronounce it like Eileen), she was born on October 28th.

My sunday school team meeting went very well. We have the childrens christmas church service well covered.

I was babysitting two very energized two boys (age 8 and 12) last thurstday. Who made the couple hours I watched them, very entertaining. I just love those two!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy dreary day here. So nothing going on outdoors for me. Instead I'm going to do some work on the computer that I have been putting off and maybe start putting out a few christmas decorations. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I forgot to mention but Wayne and I put up a couple of our Christmas Trees on Monday and got a few other decorations out. My granddaughter is here and asked, "Why do you have so many Santa Claus'"? Ha ha! Looks like I'm obsessed with him. =)

It's good to have you back! Glad you had a good time. You see, Christmas follows you wherever you go!

We are back!!! Just got in from a wonderful cruise aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship. We went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. I thought our other cruises was fun but this one was the best.

Look who we saw on Halloween Night in the Main Dining Room on the ship! Santa was enjoying himself on vacation! I was so excited that I jumped up and ran over to his table. The people we were sitting with started laughing but I was very for real. Ha ha! I told Santa that he is my hero and could I take a picture of him. He was very happy to do so. I am not the only one, everyone was going up to him wanting pictures. Wayne and I were selected as finalist in the Costume Contest onboard. I was a cop and he was my inmate. There were hundreds of people dressed up and they selected 31 people as finalist. Santa was selected too! We didn't win but we got a medal. It was fun!

What's your favorite Christmas tea? I've been keeping an eye out for the seasonal flavors at the supermarket, but no luck yet. I miss Stash Holiday Chai. I enjoyed it in 2011, then couldn't find it at all last year.

I can't leave this couple out. They were onboard Halloween night as well. They were not with Santa but they met each other and of course Buddy the Elf had scream, "Santa"!!! It was way too cool to have a little Christmas on the ship!

I am disappointed that I did not get a picture of Santa's whole outfit because he was wearing Christmas shorts with flip flops to complete the whole "Santa on a Caribbean Cruise" look.
