Oh I do! Lisa has had me move that thing in so many different locations around the house, that if it had an odometer on it, with all those miles, it would be time for an oil change and 4 new tires.....LOL!!!!!

Yup........the holidays are in the air!!!!!

Enjoy the lights and decorations in the city Festive Spirit, I bet everything looks beautiful!
I hope you have a great day!

:give:

You are so sweet, and thanks for wishing us the best for today! Your husband is fortunate to have a lady such as yourself!

Yesterday I was out, and I could tell by the weather winter is on it's way, and sure enough it snowed a bit last night for a couple of hours, nothing lasted, but it was sure great to see it!

While I was out running some errands, I dropped by for a visit to Michael's Arts and Crafts, and sure enough the store was filled to the hilt with decorations! And boy was it busy! I did purchase a couple of 'Sparkling Pine' candles, and some beautiful ribbon, and they have these 'Scentsicles' which I've never seen before, they are scented ornaments! I purchased the 'White Winter Fir' and boy oh boy do they smell just like a pine tree!
I'm going to suspend one from my mirror in my car, with the ribbon I bought, my new car will smell like a pine forest in winter......I'm luv'in it!

Then I wandered over to Walmart, and man that place was so busy....and of course people were buying decorations like crazy....Montrealers luv the holidays and decorate the city to the hilt!
I found for $5.00 'Home Alone 1' and I was so excited, I have 'Home Alone 2', now I have the complete set!
Then I also found 'A Christmas Carol' with George C. Scott for $5.00 bucks, man I was very happy, because Scott does a wonderful job in this version! Then I also purchased a string of mixed coloured lights, 50.
I shall start decorating little bit by little bit sometime next weekend, "if" I can wait that long!

Ok....that's it....that's my update on what I did Saturday, today just going to relax, and start planning my lists for making my yearly Panettones for the holidays!
I hope YOU ALL have a great weekend!
Later.......!

I miss Blockbuster! I use to take the girls there when they were little. We were talking about it recently! They liked walking around in there, browsing and picking out movies. I would let them pick out candy and we would get tubs of popcorn. They enjoyed it. I think it's sad they aren't around anymore.
Good luck going back to work on Monday, I hope you feel well!

We have a rental place close to our house that we still visit every now and then. We have Netflix and on the weekends, there is always movies on Disney Jr. the kids like to watch, but I still like to take them every once in a while. We will get several DVD's, like you said, tubs of popcorn, and some candy. They really enjoy that.

TGIF my Christmas friends!!

I hope everyone had a great week.I had a busy week with work and today I am headed to my youngest daughter's school for their Veterans Day Celebration...her class is singing a song.

Then tonight we are going to get a kitten..I have never owned a cat before but my kids have been begging and begging so my hubby and I agreed.

We wrote out Thanksgiving menu last night..I just love this time of year!! I just put on my Christmas music..

Hope everyone has a great weekend...I really do enjoy this site..such nice people!

I loved reading this post this morning. Such exciting things going on!!! I hope things are going good with the new kitty!!! I listened to Christmas music all day yesterday - today I have Christmas on tv. I picked up a turkey roll for Thanksgiving (I think I'll make a ham too) & I am in the middle of making Crispy Potato Puffs (From the TOH magazine) - I have the potatoes in the fridge. Fun Fun Fun!

Have a great day!

To everything there is a season
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born
A time to die

To everything there is a season
A time to laugh
A time to weep

To everything there is a season
Unspeakable joy at the arrival of Coach's daughter

To everything there is a season
Unbearable grief at the loss of our Louann

To everything there is a season
We join year long.... strangers in a world surely gone mad as we celebrate a time of peace and not war

Because this is our Season

And so it has come to this..

Four days until the season...

Beautiful post, Binger! Very heartfelt!

Good morning, friends~

Happy Saturday!!

What are your weekend plans?

My parents & Jazzie are heading up today, to hang out with us for the weekend. And tomorrow, Adrian & I, and some friends are going to Lambeau Field for the Packers-Eagles game. Bless my parents hearts, they made the trip to take care of Harlowe for us while we're gone. They adore her, and vice versa, so it all works out! And Jazzie & Har enjoy seeing each other, too.

Our friend, Eric, is coming up today as well. We are going to pick up his brother along the way tomorrow, and then meet my uncle & cousin for a bite to eat before the game. They will be there, too! Should be fun!!
Let's just hope Seneca Warren has been practicing this week!!

We have done some Christmas decorating this week, a little something here & there after work each day. We hung red & white lights on our deck, changed our outdoor bulbs to red & green, put battery operated wreaths around our carriage lights & front door, battery operated pine boughs on our stairway railings (love those, multi-colored or white lights, still or blinking), hung a few xmas signs, and even hung my vintage "believe" stocking. Yay!! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
Next weekend, I will be decorating the trees. Adi will put them up before he leaves, and I will decorate them & more things around the house. The village is after that! Can't wait!!

Work has been keeping me busy. Lots to learn!! And we've been short-handed with people being sick, and extra shoppers out & about.

I may not be around much for the next couple of days, but I'll be good, just enjoying my time with family & on the road trip. Go Pack, Go!!

Hope you all have a blessed & lovely weekend!!

xx

:hi:

Have a wonderful time at the game! Safe travels!

Good morning all~ It's a beautiful sunny morning here in Baltimore! It looks like we had a frost last night, I can see out the window, the white on the cars and the lawn. I think this morning we are riding out to go look at a house that just came up on the market and do some general running.

Guess what, my real estate agent just called and said she has a contract in hand and is waiting on another. She didn't tell us any details over the phone because she said she wanted time to review it, before she sat down with us. Hopefully, it's good news and not a low ball offer; fingers crossed!

Tonight, we are having a birthday party for Victoria (her birthday is tomorrow), she is having about 15 of her friends coming over so we are going to run out and pick up her birthday cake and order allot of pizzas for tonight...That's allot of hungry teenagers to feed, lol...

i hope you all have a wonderful day today~

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Happy Birthday to Victoria! Hope she enjoyed her party!

Day 3 Special Post

All I needed to know about Christmas
I learned on MMC:

Celebrate all year long
Sing a Christmas song at least once a day
Play games with others
Laugh together
Pray for each other
Cry when your heart aches
Bake often and share the recipes and pictures
Watch Christmas movies, even in the summer
Take lots of pictures of your furbabies to share
It is ok to say Merry Christmas, happy holidays or Xmas
Say thank you often
Say hello to newcomers
Believe in Santa…and
Never, ever, loose the wonder of everything Christmas

Christmas is coming again, as it does faithfully every year.
It will come no matter what is going on in the world and in our lives.

We together have faced a year of great joys, welcoming new lives into the world and great sorrows in saying goodbye to friends, family members and beloved pets.
Praying, laughing and crying together as we shared those moments in our lives that we just knew others here would understand.

From daily conversations, to those special times of community chats, Christmas in July and greetings on the podcasts. With the ornament exchange and the mailing of Christmas cards, we bring Christmas into each others homes from around the world. Our very own Kringle radio keeps us dancing to Christmas tunes all year long. Of course we cannot forget the main event party of the year, “The Worlds Largest Christmas party”!!! The only one you can attend without the worry of what to wear.

So celebrate the birth of Jesus and the miracle of His coming. Get together with family and friends. Believe in Santa Claus and his magic. Give to those who are not as blessed as you are. Brighten those dark nights with bright lights and beautiful decorations.
Be excited, the Christmas season is about to begin!

Very well said, 'Star! Always a pleasure to read your Special Posts. You ended on a bang. My excitement continued to elevate throughout your message. We've learned and experienced a lot throughout the past 8 months. Despite all the twists and turns, we're still here. We're still together and celebrating the magic that only come once a year. I am very excited. The Christmas Season is nearly here!

Good morning everyone!

A new day. A new incredible special post. Thank you, again, 'Star. Best of luck to Ballcoach and Xmas as they put the finishing touches on their posts and prepare them for their respective debuts.

Kim and I managed to make it to Cornwall and back yesterday. We made a few visits to her family while we there. It was nice to see them again. Last night was quite snowy! Wet snow began at about 4pm and persisted throughout the night. It managed to remain throughout the evening, but appears that it has since melted this morning. However, with this cold spell, there is a chance for snow until Tuesday, when more seasonal temperatures return.

As for today, not much is in the plans. We'll have our final big breakfast before the beginning of the Christmas Season and then watch the Packers game. Hopefully they can stay afloat with Seneca Wallace leading the charge rather than Aaron Rodgers.

Well, speaking of that breakfast. I should really get on it. We're missing orange juice, which is a key element for us. I will have to get on that before we start.

Have a great Sunday, everyone! Only two special posts remain. Only three days remain! The Christmas Season is so close!

Okay I know this belongs in the Blossoms thread but I got so excited I just had to post it here. Driving this evening what did we find?
