I hope everyone got through the storms safely.

It's so exciting to see all your Christmas trees and decorations going up!

I spent a Christmassy day … spent a good hour and a half wandering around Russell's Garden Center in Wayland looking at all their wonderful Christmas stuff---so many things I saw made me think of all of you. I also stopped at the Home Depot for some additional Christmas lights---I needed an extra string for my tree, and got a couple strings of C7s to string on the hedge out front. (As usual, I mixed white bulbs in with multicolor bulbs.) I'll string the lights on the tree when I get home from work the day before Thanksgiving (hoping that will be early!), and the outdoor lights will go up shortly after. (I just can't get the hang of outdoor decorating … my efforts usually look pretty lame. But I always attempt something.)

It was so enjoyable to spend the day doing Christmas things … I hate to go back to work tomorrow. But it'll be a four-day week, and next week will be a short week leading up to Thanksgiving (is it possible? already?!), then lots of gift-wrapping and packages and music!

Mr. is still feeling pretty rough with his cold and is very raspy, but I'm hoping he's turned the corner and will be over it in a few days. Crossing my fingers that it won't latch onto me next. I'm going to try to get some hot tea into him this evening.

Hope Mr. Is feeling much better soon!!

Glad you had such a fun, Christmasy day!!

Merry Monday Morning! I hope you all had a good weekend. I am very behind on posts so I hope I have not missed anything special or important. The weekend has been hectic. The children are also not very well especially my toddler.

I saw on the news about the bad weather and immediately thought of you guys. I hope everyone is safe and getting through it.

Christmas decorations came down form the loft on Saturday night but I have not started putting anything up yet!

Have a magical day everyone!

I hope the kids feel better very soon!

This weekend, I received an e-mail from good our friends, saying they stopped by our house but we weren't home.

(I found this strange because we were home decorating all weekend!)

Then they sent me this pic!

It's of their son, celebrating his 16th birthday with his folks in Vegas =]
They rented a Lamborghini for the day, and drove it to our old house, to take a pic ;)

Surreal to see our house again, and with our WI friends in front of it!

I can't believe I forgot to mention that Saturday night I put up my Buckeye tree in the basement!! I had some help! (our friends kids) Here they are putting up the tree...

And here is how the tree looked when they finished (had to go home)

Soooo - I did a "little" re-arranging & here's the final project. (need to get a new tree skirt - that is the Buckeye afghan I made last year. LOL)

(I really need to get a better picture with a camera - not a phone)

I always have to some rearranging after the kids help with the tree! It looks beautiful!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a long, busy weekend, but The Nutcracker Ballet is upon us! Wednesday is a full dress rehearsal, then they have a Friday afternoon mini-presentation for local schools, then Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon shows. I can't wait! This year, the ballet company teamed-up with a local dance supply shop to offer beautiful Christmas ornaments that will be personalized with their names and Nutcracker Ballet 2013. They will be presented as a surprise at the Saturday night show.

This cold front everyone is talking about sure hasn't found its way down south. It's almost 80° at 9:30AM..but it's supposed to get into the 60's tomorrow.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Best wishes to Elizabeth!!!

Good afternoon everyone!

It's the first Monday of the Christmas Season! I received a call for an emergency supply this morning. I thought the school was only about 30 minutes away, but it turned out to be nearly an hour! Oops. I missed the first period, but they were really happen when I arrived. It all worked out in the end. Glad I could make it and get a full day's pay!

I am not too sure of anything else that may be happening today. I know that I have hockey tonight at 10pm. It's a little late, but I am excited to play. I missed last week due to having to teach in Cornwall. Hopefully we can win our first game in a while tonight.

Well, I should be going. It's another 50 minutes to drive home... and then find something to cook for dinner. I'm already starving, too!

Have a great Monday, everyone! Merry Christmas!

Good luck tonight!

It seems like everytime I get on Facebook the number of confirmed Tornado's yesterday keeps rising. It's now up to 23 and they are still out there investigating. That stands as the thrid most in a single day in Indiana history.
