Christmas Countdown - 2013

[Holiday]

I worked all day on my outdoor lights, and finishing up the leaves. The inside of the house is still a mess. cheesy

I am thankful that Massachusetts has that law, we don't need Thanksgiving to turn into another Easter. When I was growing up, Easter everything was closed. Now if you want to go to the mall, eat fast food or whatever, it is a "normal" day.

I agree 100%- Easter should be a day with family as well! Crazy it's a government decision & not common sense though!!
Awesome you have all your outdoor lights up!!! But about the leaves...you will probably have more! :lol: (maybe not...) Again - enjoy your time off work!!! 1 more day for me & I can't wait until 3:30 tomorrow!!!

I keep thinking that it is Wednesday! Wow... That's why Carl looked at my quite strangely. I got a sneak peak of tomorrow's festivities! Don't worry, I won't ruin it for anyone!

Good evening!
Just got in a little while ago from picking my youngest up from work. I didn't let her drive tonight because the news stations have been carrying on about the weather. I was expecting a monsoon this evening. It was just drizzling. I'll see how it is when I wake up in the morning. I hope its not as bad as they say it will be.
So much to do tomorrow! I'm so excited for Thanksgiving, I really enjoy hosting this holiday!

Tonight -I made a pumpkin roll for work tomorrow, a pumpkin cake for the turkey trot, I baked the ham for Thanksgiving lunch, sausage dressing for Tday lunch, & I fried bacon & boiled the eggs for a 7 layer salad for Thanksgiving supper at my sisters...I did some laundry, did tons of dishes...and I love it! But like I said earlier - if someone would just come & clean.... :-D

Well, I've posted a grand total of two times in six days...shame on me!

Been busy wrapping up school for the break, taking care of the baby, and a few others things....

Had the weirdest thing happen today...went to the doctor for my regular checkup for high blood pressure...and he noticed my throat was red. I fee like a million bucks, but they did a throat swab and I have strep throat. So weird...I feel fine.

So I'm on some pretty strong medications. This is the third time I've had it since August, so we got to get something figured out. I'm supposed to go back to see him in ten days and then again in 20.

Baby and wife are snoozing, but I'm wide-awake. The next three days are in my top 10 days of the year, so I better get some rest.
