Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a cold chilly day here with some light snow showers moving through this morning. Not much on my agenda for today. Just a few things to do around the apartment and maybe a quick trip to the store. Then back here for the party!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

I am more than excited for the big Christmas party! Glad I can stop by this morning, too. I had a last-minute supply job for an elementary teacher on Friday. It was a 3-4 class. The kids were cute, but it was much different than my regular secondary (Grades 9-12) classes. Since then, I have been quite busy.

Yesterday was a busy day! We had our yearly Fondue Christmas party last night. It was quite enjoyable. Delicious foods topped off with a gift exchange, drinks and games. Can't ask for much more than that on the first full weekend of December. I think I will be spending much of today recovering for the celebrations.

Thankfully, there is another celebration ahead today. And for this, I don't even have to leave the apartment! Looking forward to seeing everyone in real-time!

I am watching Hallmark today and right now "a very merry, mix up" is on. I think that one is my favorite new xmas hallmark film this year. I love that girl Alicia Witt that was on that show back on the 90's um Cybill I think it was. Anyway I am recording that and Fir crazy comes on next it's a good one too. Thank goodness for Hallmark. I have my indoor Christmas lights on. I have not had them plugged in much this year because I over did it and they are just too bright at night. That has never bothered me before but I surely can't sleep with them on. So when I am here I just leave the oudoor ones on. I am trying very hard to not snack too much today because I am suppose to have some people over tonight to eat duck and rice. I will check back here later on!

Just saw this on my husband's facebook page - he must be feeling extra homesick today if he's posting pics of our dogs. LOL He took this at Thanksgiving. This is Jake and Mrs. Chiweenie though we've shortened it to Chi or Chi-chi. LOL

I never intend to stay away from here for as long as I do. Actually I do come on here sometimes but don't post. I always tell myself I need to be more active on here, but I don't always listen to myself. :lol:

I just watched that movie last night - it was very cute! I watched "Let It Snow" a week or so ago with Candace Cameron Bure and it was by far my favorite this year. So Christmassy!
