Good evening,

We have been going since 5:40 this morning, when we got the phone call from the school saying there was an early dismissal due to the snow. We went out after dropping the boys off at school and rushed to get everything done. It was snowing the whole time, I am glad we have AWD now because the roads got sloppy.
I wrapped the last of the gifts I had for my wife, just waiting on one more now.
I went out and shoveled the driveway, we ended up getting 7 inches of snow.

I am exhausted.

We're having a heatwave this week - today being 40°C (104°F). No walking in this heat! The plants are struggling because I like more tropical plants than the drought resistant ones recommended by our council. I have spread piping for my own watering system. The risers have sprays that ants love to build nests in so silly me sees one not working, unscrews it and automatically puts it into my mouth to suck out the blockage - needless to say the ants inside weren't happy and they bit my tongue.

Ouch. Hope you're ok!

It's amazing the difference in temps that we all have. Yet we all come to the same place with a love of Christmas

Good Morning, Wonderful Wacky Wendnesday Friends.

Not only that, it's the last open house day before Carl's Christmas Eve extravaganza.

And not only that, but this:
Days to Christmas Day: 7 (ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!)
(I can almost see Rudolph's nose piercing the fog!)

Warmer yesterday and dry. Not bad for mid December.
A cool interlude today then it is supposed to warm up to near 70 by the weekend.
Sweet!
Right now, we are at 37 degrees.

Hey.
I got all my Christmas presents wrapped last night and today I attend my niece's college graduation!

ewww yuck, hope it is not to bad with the bites. That you can file under "what was I thinking"
It has warmed up to only -6c (21f) this morning here. It is not snowing this morning, first time in a couple of weeks. But not to worry, more is on the way!
