I am in rush mode right now, I went to see my boys in their Holiday Sing at school, they did an awesome job. I had to pop in here before work, because that is my tradition on Wednesdays. I really don't want to go in, I am already in vacation mode. cheesy

I still laugh every time I see the police officer holding the sign, "N-reeky."
I love that movie

I just watched that a couple of nights ago! My favorite part is when they slam the criminal against the cop car window - LOL!!! "N-Reeky" has a priceless expression!!! And the background voiceover saying it is his first Christmas in America makes it even funnier!

Good morning friends. This has been one crazy stressful morning at work. I'm glad the Pines will be open for business tonight. I dropped by earlier just to check on things and a word of warning: Carl was making eggnog but laughing hysterically the entire time. It seemed to have more ingredients than eggnog should so drink at your own risk!

Oh gosh, only one week left!

We are back from the hospital after having all of the testing. My mom already received the results of her kidney and bladder sonograms - all is good. They said small stones and gravel likely would not have shown up. If a stone showed then it would have been big and surgery would have been needed to remove it.

My mom is just going to keep drinking a lot of water and hopefully if there's a small stone it'll pass! I want to avoid doctors and hospitals - don't need to get sick before Christmas!

Good news for your mom!

I couldn't find that item anywhere but I did find something else that I think my daughter will be happy with. Thankfully the store gave me a refund for the sold out item that I didn't receive!

I'm sitting here....with my little girl sleeping on my chest...watching the Polar Express...

a tear just rolled down my face...

I couldn't be any happier than I am...right now....

That is so sweet, Coach. I loved when my kids were that age and I could cuddle them like that. I truly do miss it. Enjoy it, especially this time of the year.

Please pray for my mom, she has come down with one whopper of a cold, sore throat and just feeling run down. Also my son is getting it now too. I am working hard to make sure I do not get it!

We're having a heatwave this week - today being 40°C (104°F). No walking in this heat! The plants are struggling because I like more tropical plants than the drought resistant ones recommended by our council. I have spread piping for my own watering system. The risers have sprays that ants love to build nests in so silly me sees one not working, unscrews it and automatically puts it into my mouth to suck out the blockage - needless to say the ants inside weren't happy and they bit my tongue.

That is so crazy! Try to stay cool!

Good Morning, Wonderful Wacky Wendnesday Friends.

Not only that, it's the last open house day before Carl's Christmas Eve extravaganza.

And not only that, but this:
Days to Christmas Day: 7 (ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!!)
(I can almost see Rudolph's nose piercing the fog!)

Warmer yesterday and dry. Not bad for mid December.
A cool interlude today then it is supposed to warm up to near 70 by the weekend.
Sweet!
Right now, we are at 37 degrees.

Hey.
I got all my Christmas presents wrapped last night and today I attend my niece's college graduation!
