Days to Christmas Day: 4 (Just barely over HALF A WEEK to go!)

Even warmer yesterday with plenty of sun and no precip.
Fantastic!
Still warmer today and tomorrow although tomorrow may be wet.
It reads 51 degrees here on our back door thermometer at this hour.

DH has to work Christmas Day too, but we are very fortunate that the other firefighter who works with my husband, is our neighbor, so they are going to bring the firetruck down to our house and the kids are going to open their gifts, but if they get a fire call, they will have to leave. As soon as the kids are done, they will have to leave. He will then get home around 4 or so.

what a wonderful thing to do! Precious memories for the kids, they will always remember dad coming on the fire truck. We are looking forward to having everyone home for Christmas dinner too.

Hello guys. Today for lunch my office went to eat at a place on the 50th floor of one of the Oklahoma City skyscrapers. I snapped a pic to show how hight it was.

It was a lot of fun!

We are getting a major ice storm right now and many of the highways are shut down. Hope y'all have a great night.

I can't remember if I shared that I typed a message on my iPad about 3:30 this morning (haven't been able to sleep for the past two nights for some reason) and lost it all before I could post it. Boo hoo!

We will be gone to Chico for most of the day tomorrow to visit Hubby's mom and take her Christmas gifts. I spent all morning yesterday and all day today washing and ironing her clothes to take over to her. Her winter things had been in storage, so they were in desperate need!!!

When I went to my oncology appointment yesterday, I did NOT have to have my Zometa treatment. That will be a two-day affair in April. It was still a tiring day because of the 140-mile roundtrip.

I mentioned that we would not be decorating since we have no kitchen/den. Just before dinner, we went out to Wal-mart to get boxes to wrap MIL's gifts. Hubby saw a huge fresh wreath that he bought me so we could have something Christmasy. He told me he really appreciated all the work I had done for his mom!

I will try to get on my iPad later for Lovemas. I am just too tired to sit in my computer chair!

Would anyone share what your computer/iPad/I-Phone services cost you? I received my bill and it was close to $200!!!

Our stove hood arrived today! It is massive!!! I took pictures and will try to figure out how to get them from my iPad to my computer. Any suggestions?

I've been so busy, I even forget to call in this years Christmas greetings
I've been out shopping all day the last week.
Usually Im done with all my Christmas shopping BEFORE the December 1st, so I never seen this "madness" before!

I cant wait till Christmas 2014!
And I will NEVER move this time of year ever again!

I also would like to say thank you for all the beautiful Christmas cards I have recived! I Love them! So many beautiful cards. Some have to be framed and put on my wall!!

Me and Thomas have a date tonight.
We are going to a Christmas concert, and out to dinner. And we are spending the night at a great hotel in the city.

I hope you don't get that storm! We are expecting the same kind of weather here - so far freezing fog this morning, ice this afternoon and currently rain. The nasty stuff is supposed to hit tomorrow afternoon so I hope to get out and get some supplies just in case we get a lot of ice. Stay safe!!!!

still nothing this morning, it is hovering just above the freezing point. Warnings still out for later today. So far all we have is disappearing snow. :-?
I sure hope it snows some more before Christmas.

Good morning to all, today is the first official day of winter.... It's sooooo hard to take in that this is the last Saturday before Christmas as well, where did the time go.

I was up bright an early, (due to the fact that I went to bed last night at 9:00pm) and headed into the office to try and make up some time that I missed earlier this week from being sick.

I checked the weather forecast this morning and can you believe they are calling for temperatures for today and tomorrow to be in the 60's nearing the 70's mark; that's crazy for this time of year~ I just hope that for Christmas eve and Christmas day, that it feels a little more wintery, like a little snow, instead of feeling like I am in the Florida keys....although, that may not be too bad of an idea for the months of January and February; lol..

Well, I suppose I should get back to work and get some things done. My weekend plans, pack, pack and ummmm more packing.....fun-fun!

Groceries bought! Wasn't too bad. I wanted to go because tomorrow it is supposed to rain and I didn't want to have to buy groceries in the rain...except someone missed one small detail.

That rain got here sooner than expected. It got here when I was in the middle of buying groceries! Oh, joy! Good news is it's done and now it's time to put on some coffee and put the groceries up.

I will be back in about 30 to 45 minutes.

I'm so excited.

nice to have all that done! I am working at the store on Monday and Christmas eve, expecting it to be very busy.

Hey everyone! I fell asleep last night during lovemas luckily I recorded it! It was so pretty I always loved that song. I think it's great she comes back every year to perform it. I can't believe I fell asleep on the couch last night with the laptop on my lap, and this morning I wake up sweating because my dog snowball jumped up on the couch and was laying right beside me with his fat head resting on my abs. This dog is huge and weighs well over 100 pounds and he still things he's a puppy!

Around the house family is coming in, all my brothers and sisters(2 of each) are beginning to arrive not all can fit so we are putting the rest up in a near by holiday inn. In other words it's starting to get nuts around here. I have to go out tonight at mid night to fetch my sister from Mississippi because she is scared to catch a cab from the airport. I know I know but it's a long story. Snow has stopped but no melting has occurred so we have a good snowpack built up! So we know we are going to have a white Christmas. I would love it if some snow would fall though on Xmas eve!!! Well Ii am going to try to hit the slopes today it is really beginning to get crowded at the ski resorts though so I have to pack some patients we me! have a great day everyone!

Did not have the energy to stay up for lovemas, but by the looks of the number of posts it was another great one!
My daughter wants to go shopping this morning so it would be good to go before the ice rain starts.
Thanks to my Christmas angels I was able to get something special for my kids. I am so blessed.
Just took a cake out of the oven, always make the house smell nice. Speaking of house, this one needs a good cleaning. I have the weekend off so will be able to get all in order!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to a little bit colder here today with a high around 40 degree's. We are also going to get around 4 inches of rain with the heaviest of it arriving around 2 or 3 this afternoon and sticking around until tomorrow morning. So I'm going to try and get some running done this morning. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
