Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning!!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!!

I am trying to get caught up on posts, but mercy you all have been busy! :-D And I have a Reuben Dip to make & some cleaning to do... (Yes, I would rather catch up here....)

What is everyone up too for NYE? We are going to head out to the lake late afternoon (IF hubby is home in time) to do a little visiting & we'll grab a bite to eat there. I was hoping to eat at my favorite place, but I just read they are having a seafood buffet tonight....I despise seafood. LOL! We will stop in there, but will probably eat at the place closer to our trailer. Anyway - tonight we are heading to our friends party they are having out in their building. They live about 1 mile down the road from us, so its nice n close! Nothing major, but a little something to do! I hope you all have fun plans, or relaxing plans if that's what you prefer!! :smile:

I know I can ask your advice without getting raised eyebrows... I thought about keeping a simple address book in my bag but I like to put everything in my phone; does anyone know of a free app I can get from google play store that will help me keep a list of all my Christmas movies? I just need something simple so I can do a quick check when buying dvds. I've downloaded some that continually have popups and I'm getting frustrated. I used to use notes in an iphone3 but it went kaput and when fixed all the data was lost. Now I have a Samsung galaxy s4. Any help appreciated...

I don't know about Google Play, but Amazon Store has one called "Movie Collection & Inventory" It is pretty in depth. I think that would be a good one if GP has it.

Everyone keeps talking about how cute it is though and now I want to go see it!! Snowflake, wanna go with me? They will at me weird if I go by myself to a kids movie. LOL!!!!

I woke up this morning with a bad case of the PCBs, it usually doesn't hit me this hard before January 1, I spent the morning listening to Christmas music and watching a Christmas movie. I am going to fight this because I hate this feeling, I guess that is the tough part about loving Christmastime so much is when it leaves it is painful to see it go. (Of course all my decorations will be up for at least another week and a half, so it will be Christmas in my house a little longer)
The house is ready for yet another party tonight, so that will take my mind off of things.
I am hoping that this snowstorm is as big as they keep hinting, it is now supposed to start tomorrow night and go through Friday morning, I really want my family home with me through my whole vacation.

I am going to go peruse Ebay for some Christmas deals.

Enjoy the last of 2013!!

The PCB's are starting to hit here too. I'm battling it by making lists of things I need to work on for next Christmas.

Hello friends. I'm just getting a chance to get back here today for the first time since when, last Thursday or Friday....Seems like it's been longer then that. Well, were all finished up, and we are all moved in now. Wow, what an adventure, (2) 26 foot moving vans, (1) 16 foot moving van and all the other vehicles in tow... We had a beautiful day for our move Saturday and we got 99.5% of everything done/ moved in then. On Sunday, I had a wood pile to move and then it seemed as though the gates of heaven opened up and we got over an inch of rain while we were making the attempt to move the wood. We had mud from head to toe....

But, in all, we are done moving and now in the process of un-packing and trying to find everything. Hey guess what, I do have our Christmas tree up and lit in the new home already and yesterday, we got our Comcast Internet, telephone and TV service hooked up and I was playing Christmas music all day yesterday~

Well, Since I am in the office here today, I guess I should at least get a little work done, see you soon.....cheesy
