Hi everyone I hope all is well.I haven't posted in a long time but I have been here reading along with everyone. it's been a rough start to the new year our middle teenager is really putting us through some trying times , It has to get better eventually I hope . Christmas in July will be here soon enough and maybe by then things will be good.

I swear I think they do it on purpose too. The alterations are a fortune. I understand every dress has to be fitted and I have no problem with that. But like I said, why should I be responsible to pay for reconstructing the entire dress because they ordered it way too big. I'm really nervous about how the dress is going to look after it is altered. I'm praying its going to be just as beautiful.

I will pray for you that everything will work out okay, but I know it will. That's what they do for a living. I lost a lot of weight after high school and in college, after I had purchased my wedding dress. Now when my mom and I purchased my wedding dress, it was at a closing sale, but because the weight I lost, the alterations ended up costing more than my dress. They were still working on the Wednesday before my wedding. It was so nerve raking, I almost ordered a new one, but I just love mine too much. There was a lot to do with mine too, but it all worked out. I have faith for you!!!

Auditions are over and we just got home. They've already called and said Elizabeth made the cut, so we're committed to another play for the next 3 months. Proud of her! I'm not looking forward to all the running again, though. We had to do a devotional in the car while I was driving just to get it all done today LOL.

We're supposed to go to another family Easter get-together again this afternoon, but Elizabeth is so sick with a cold I think I'll stay home with her. And she fell during auditions and really hurt her behind, to the point that she was crying on the way home. Bless her heart.

Good evening,

Busy day at work, got a lot accomplished.

Today is my wife and I's, 12 wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been 12 years already. She surprised me with a new Bruins hat as a gift, she knows I have been looking for a new one for a while now.

I am ready for sleep now, one of the busiest, exhausting weeks of the year at work is upon me.

At the start of the year I had planned to try to keep up with this thread and follow some of the conversations taking place, but it moves way too fast for me!! I haven't posted for a while but I still visit often and just LOVE the Christmas spirit that abounds. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Good morning!
I just turned CNN on and am starting to see the footage of the tornadoes that hit last night. My thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected.
It is going to be sunny today with a high of 63 degrees. I'm going to get out and enjoy the weather while I can. Rain will be moving in by tomorrow and will be here for most of the week. I think I will take my walk today at a lake that is nearby.
My daughter has a routine doctor appointment early this morning. Other than that it will be a typical day for me. I have a couple of errands to run after the doctor appointment then back home for daily chores.

We are voyaging to our coastal cottage early Wednesday morning to start preparing it for the rental season which begins in June.

Good rainy morning MMC! It is pouring down rain right now! Better to have a rainy Monday than a rainy Saturday or Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I haven't caught up on posts at all, but I'll see what I can do about that!

Friday night we had no plans. We stayed out at the lake, Jim went mushrrom hunting & when he got back we walked to the tavern up the street to grab a bite to eat, hung out with the neighbors. Saturday we sat outside most the afternoon, birthday party for our nieces Saturday night, then we met friends/neighbors back at the lake. Yesterday was our friends sons bday lunch, then I sat outside at our friends house while Jim went mushroom hunting - no luck finding mushrooms in 4 woods. Hopefully this warm rain will make them pop! And here we are - back to Monday! This should be a quick week - Tuesday night I'm going with my sister/Mom to see God's Not Dead. Thursday night we are taking our friend Teresa out for her birthday! Tonight I should do some cleaning, but this rain makes me want to watch a movie & nap! Lol!

Good afternoon MMC! I'm running behind today! I see I have 10 pages to catch up on - you gabby people! :lol: Hope you are all having a great day. I have had too many bosses in the office today, but it's is a GORGEOUS day! Just perfect! Maybe I'll do some windows this afternoon! Gracie had her 1st lesson at lunch with the wireless fence. Level 2 did not phase her at all. I turned it up to level 3 & she didn't care for that at all. Poor little girl! She went under the patio table afterwards (which isn't unusual) I will let Jim do the lesson tonight. I can't be the mean one all the time! Ha ha! I'm going with Mom & my sis tonight to see God's Not Dead. I've heard lots of good about it, so hopefully it's a good one! Jim is going mushroom hunting after work if it's not raining. Hopefully the severe storms they are calling for will miss us! It's so nice now, it's hard to imagine it getting bad!

Easter Break is over....today was Kandice´s first day back in school...she was not very happy this morning....but she enjoyed it in the end......

They did their yearly class-intern competition in reading....and for the second year in a row Kandice has become the Reading-Queen of her class......on Wednesday she will read again....against the winners of the winners of the other 2 second grade classes in her school....the winner of this one will go to the City competition.....She was very proud again!!!!!

watching M.A.S.H. at the moment.....been resting most of the day....the coughing is still not better....and not worse....I hope and think it will be better tomorrow.....at least I did not have a headache today...so that is some improvement
