Christmas Countdown - 2014

I just had to share with you this beautiful card my son gave me for Mother's Day . It had me in tears

I am so blessed !

Aww CS thats so sweet! I grew up in a one parent family, and it wasnt until I became a mother myself I realised how hard it is bringing up a family! and thats with me having shaun by my side helping! Made me realise how hard my mum worked to give us the best childhood she could and she did a heck of a job with it!! xxxx

Another long day in these parts, and work was the easy part of the day.

We had to drop off the rental car tonight, we had it over a month, with GM paying for the whole thing. The Saturn's recall is fixed but the car is pretty much on it's last legs and will never pass the Massachusetts Safety & emissions testing. So once again we are going through the motions of trying to get a new or pre-owned vehicle. Please cross your fingers and wish us luck, we are trying to drive a hard bargain to get the price we want, and GM is claiming they will bend over backwards to get us into a new car because of the trouble of the recall. Then we went to JP's baseball game, his team got their first win of the season, the boys were so happy because they won it in their last at bat.

Got home to watch the Bruins game, it would have been nice if the Bruins actually showed up to play, they were horrible tonight. Game 7 Wednesday night, and I have to work! Oh well.

Thanks, buddy. I really don't mind the early mornings, that's what I did in Vegas too- I just can't wind down at night & fall asleep so early. That is what's tough for me I catch up on sleep on Wednesday & the weekends!
