LOL!!!!! I enjoy it for awhile. More time to sit out on the porch without having to worry about skunks sneaking up on us!!!!

Yeah, there are some advantages to it! For us, not so much, just more heat to suffer!!! I guess it don't make a lot of difference, it's still very hot in the middle of the night here!

Xmastidings, great point on the days getting shorter! I love it getting dark early!!!

HMG, love the picture of the bird. So cute!!!

Christmasstar, glad you are safe from that storm that moved in!

Xmas365, good luck on the car shopping

Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) morning, my Christmas friends!

We had Honors Day ceremonies last night, and the kids received several awards. They were so proud of themselves, and so was I! The teacher (Susan) who did most of the speaking is actually a girl I graduated HS with, and she was telling the parents that they should feel free to come down front to take pictures when their kids' names are called. When they called Elizabeth, Nancy said "Go get the picture!" So I stood up and took a step forward, then she said "Never mind, don't go!", so I squatted down...but it was too late. Susan called out "Come on down, Brad!" I said something stupid (in front of all those people!) like, "Nancy made me do it!" Susan said, "yeah, it's always the woman's fault, eh?" It got a big laugh. I was red all over...LOL.

Guitar lessons and ballet lessons this afternoon. Always something.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Congrats to the kids!!!

Just curious but when do kids start summer holidays where you are?? How long do they get? Here they get five weeks from end of July to end of August.

Also when does the sun rise and set in the summer where you are. For us in peak summer it starts getting light just after 4am and goes dark around 10pm.

What about you all?????

The kids are scheduled to get out of school for the summer June 19, they will be off until I believe the Thursday before Labor Day (first weekend in September).

Sunrise on the longest day of the year is 5:14am, and sunset is 8:30pm.

Good morning!
It's going to be mostly cloudy today with temperatures in the lower 60's.
Typical day for me. I have some chores to do around the house and then I'll be heading out to run a couple of errands, including a trip to Target. My youngest also has a dentist appointment later this afternoon, just a routine cleaning. And If I have time I would like to take a ride to Hallmark to look for invitations for my daughters graduation party. Not too much else going on.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Happy errand running!
Hope your daughter's dentist appointment goes well~

Have a wonderful day, HmG!!

xx

Good morning,

Doing the usual don't want to go to work Wednesday stuff, especially since it is Game 7 for the Bruins tonight. I will pretty much miss the whole game, I may catch the very end if it doesn't go to OT.
Not much else going on around here today, just biding my time until it's time to head in.

I hope you are enjoying your Pines Day.

I have to upgrade my cable now!!!!! Wayne and I had downgraded our cable last year to save some money and Hallmark is one of the stations we lost. We have been talking about upgrading it for the past few days and haven't made a decision yet. This just might confirm in doing so!!!!!

We will see because electricity bill will be going sky high for us during the summer and we have other plans all summer long that will take some extra funds. Decisions decisions! =)

My dad likes all these movies and he has Hallmark. Maybe I will just go to his house and watch the movies with him. :D

Thanks for the update!!!

I just love having the AC on, closing the blinds, and feeling like it is really Christmastime, when in reality, it's HOT outside.

I love that you enjoy watching these movies with your Dad, too!

My Dad & I do, as well. And we usually need a box of Kleenex! We are such sentimental saps!! :-D
