Hi, Festive! I slept better last night than I have in several weeks - must be the invigorating exercise out in the cold air. We have been doing all right since the storm. The fur kids all seem to be doing well and there is heat in the house so all is good! I hope things out your way are going good! Have a MERRY day!!!

I wish I could have stayed in bed today!

I wish I could have stayed in bed, too! Shortly after the alarm went off the plow went down the road and that meant I had to do more shoveling today.

He kids seem to do okay, but they aren't out in it too long. As far as Ella, she would lay outside and play, even today if I would let her. The cold doesn't get to her. She's nuts. Thanks for asking!

I heard a sad bit of news on the radio this morning. The voice of Yukon Cornelius (Larry Mann) has passed away at the age of 91.

That is sad - his voice was perfect for the part of YC!

The rain yesterday washed away most of our snow from last week. Only the piles from shoveling and plowing are left. Happily, the slush in our street got washed away before the temps plunged last night and were in pretty good shape this morning except for some frozen puddles here and there. So it was a safe drive today, sunny and COLD. Warmer than the Midwest and Canada, though! We'll be in the teens (F) today.

I'm so glad you had a safe drive into work! Stay warm!!!

Good freezin afternoon!!! Hope everyone is safe & warm!!! I can't believe I haven't logged on here since Friday!!! 2014 is flying already!!!

Crazy weather we are having. Yesterday UPS closed so hubby was home. I stayed home. Temps well below zero...:cold: My hubby blew a path from our driveway to our neighbors back door so all the neighbors could get to their house to play cards! :lol: We played marbles, 7up & screw your neighbor. We had veggie soup & chili soup for supper. Was a lot of fun!!! Great day off work. I came into work today but I worked through my lunch so I can leave early & I didn't have to go outside anymore than necessary! Brrrrr!!

Ok - I'm off to read as many posts as I can inbetween getting caught up on work!!!

Well, as I posted earlier the plow went down the road today - surprising as we live on one of the last roads to be taken care of after storms. The driveway is now passable, too. A snow shovel was used to push the bulk of the snow into piles and then a garden shovel was used to throw some of the heavier bits over said piles. Fun stuff and good exercise! I didn't feel cold when I was outside, but I sure do now!
