A little Dave Matthews Band, a little coffee, a little breeze.....all make for a good morning on the deck. Birds aren't flying, they have probably flown off for a bit...they will be back. Not much on tap today. Going to do some work, clean up around the house...basically a whole bunch of nothing. However, that's exactly what I want! Bambina is out here with me....I like to bring her play pin out on the deck with me on Sunday morning. I want her to like the outside, so I try to get her out in it. At some point today, we will go walking.

I've also got to do some cooking today. I'm going to make my brown-sugar sloppy joes, nachos, and lasagna for this week (all crockpot).

Y'all have a good day!
my kids lived outside as much as inside growing up. We had a huge back yard at the time and a really big deck with a cover on it. (could hold 4 picnic tables) Their dad built a play center for them and we had a lot of kids in the neighborhood come over to play too. We still love going camping and to the lake.

Good Evening, Buddy!!!! Hope you are have had an awesome day!!!!!

I know, but for me it is sitting here with a nice mug of tea.
5 hours to mow a lawn, you either have a really big lawn or a really slow running mower ! It takes my son about 10 min to do ours with a push mower. Of course we live in a town house so that makes a difference LOL
Have a great day !

Thanks Star, I hope you have a great day as well!!!!

I have 3 acres of ALL GRASS to cut; LOL.... Ahhhh, I don't mind doing it so much, the riding mower has a 52" deck on it, but still, with the push mowing and trimming involved, then wash the equipment down, oh yea, 5 hours~
The bummer is that it really chews into whatever day I do it on!

Good luck with all of your work today, hope you find some time to relax as well!
Have a great day!!!

Hey there HomemakinGirl, Thank you, and I hope that you have a great day as well!!!! I just sat down for the first time since I posted this morning and I'm still not done doing things. I'm just taking a breather, then I'll be up and at em again....

Thanks Meceka!
I will miss my parents! Since they are both retired now it will be the first time that they'll be able to stay in PA for a long amount of time. I wish I could just pick up and go visit them but its hard to do with the animals.
My daughter is still sleeping! I'm praying she feels better. It is a bummer, especially since she had off today and its gorgeous out!
For my sauce I use a couple of cans of crushed tomatoes, a couple of purée and also tomato paste. I throw in meatballs and Italian sausage and let it simmer all day. Easy peasy and always so good!

Thank you Snowflake!! It was nice to be able to sit at talk with him for a little while. We had breakfast and Lunch together, then he "supervised" me, While I did a couple of small tasks while I was down there....

Whewww, I just got done doing 5 hours of grass cutting, took a shower, ate dinner (hotdogs on the grill) and I guess in a few more minutes, I'm going to get into a couple of more things before I call it quits for the day!

LOL! You know something, when it starts to be in June, my mind and my eyes are keeping a look out for the first signs, of when the stores may start to either stock up on or put out Halloween and Christmas stuff....

happy 1st of June everyone!!!! It's a sunny day here in the UK, looking forward to spending the day in the garden with the girls making the most Of the sunshine!

Hope this finds everyone well! Going to have a read around the forums!! Have a great day everyone! X :)

Good Morning! You know something, there is this ahhhhhhh moment that takes place every morning when I take that first sip of coffee.... Yea buddy, I'm having a Folgers moment........................................................

Ok better now! LOL! I'm getting ready to head down to go visit my grandfather for a little bit, then come home and cut grass (that takes 5 hours), work in the basement some more and then do some caulking in the master bedroom. It's another beautiful morning here, and it's the first of June. Here we are folks, getting closer and closer to that half way point of the year, can you believe this already? Wow, time is kicking this year!

Lisa and I were walking thru Home Depot last night (had to go buy a couple of cat 6/ HDMI cables and boxes to install for my son's Xbox and TV system. I promised him that I would hook it all up before he gets home from Texas; which will be next week) any way's, we were kind of chuckling that you watch, starting in June, all of there outdoor stuff, deck furniture and such will go on sale so that they can start to get Halloween and Christmas stuff in......

Well, hope everyone has a good day today, I won't get much of a chance today to get back here and check until this evening. God Bless and have a safe day!!!!!

I bet you'll be so excited to have your son home! Very nice of you to for him!
