I haven't been to the Dr about my foot, I am too worried him telling me I can't work. I can't afford not to work right now with the new car payments and the vacation next month that we put a non-refundable deposit on back in April. I am stuck trying to make that decision.

I absolutely love bubble lights, they are some of my earliest memories of childhood of them being on our tree. The others being C7 lights, which I have on my tree every year along with bubbles.

Oh gosh Xmas , I am so sorry. I understand you not wanting to go to the doctor's but do look after yourself.

Can you still buy bubble lights? I have never seen it here but I might try looking online.

Have a great night everybody. I'm going to sign off & back up the computer & get outa here. Off to the vet to pick up Gracie's flee/tick/heartworm meds, grocery store, I would like to check on Mom - she had her other eye surgery this morning for cataract. And I need to check the garden. THEN I have to be at my SIL's for the recital by 6:15! Run, run, run! :D

See ya'll tomorrow!!!!!

How are you today Holiday? I hope that your mum's surgery went well and she is recovering.

It is difficult ... but you need to find out from a doctor whether you would be further damaging your foot while working. A short time away from work would be better than risking injury that requires surgery, or that would keep you from enjoying your vacation.

If you don't want to go to your regular doctor, could you get an opinion from a Minute Clinic or some other walk-in clinic?

You are lucky that your husband is so talented! Out here, the last day of school is today, but of course we had no snow days; however, we did have to make up some "flood days" one year!

Thank you so much Seawaters!
My husband will be installing the cabinets, he may ask his co worker to come over if he needs help lifting something. He's done all of the construction and also built the cabinets by himself. Having someone paint the cabinets was just about the only thing he didn't do.
The kids did have to make up a couple of snow days. They made them up during their Easter recess and Memorial Day weekend. Graduation day is June 28th and her party will be the following day. My daughter also has prom on the 26th. I can't believe this is my last one!

Good evening,

My foot, blah, blah, blah, hurts. Work as a long day, I walk very slow right now but I am still accomplishing almost all I need to. School ends here in two weeks, the kids are starting to lose focus, I remember how excited I use to get at this time of year. (it wasn't like Christmas excited though)

I went very quickly through tonights posts and I am very tired. I kept missing the letter I in the word recital and started laughing until reread it in the multiple posts it was in. (I know, I need to grow up) cheesy

5:30 gets here waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to soon.

Good night, everyone.

Hope you soon start to feel better, friend and you're day today goes well.

Because of the "mess," I have not been able to get on to the house computer. Well, that means my iPad has been my main choice for almost all my computer work lately; and then the unspeakable happened! I dropped my iPad, not once, not twice, but three times and shattered the screen along the top portion!!! As you can probably guess, the iPad is really giving me fits! My screen is a showpiece for "spider web" cracks all over. Therefore, it takes forever to do any typing or to "like" a post or even to share a recipe!!! Is my iPad salvageable at all? Can a person replace just the screen? It just is not like it used to be, and I am so frustrated!

First of all ... Great to hear from you! We've been missing you!

I've heard of people getting their iPhone screens replaced, so perhaps iPad screens can be replaced too. Because of the touch-screen functions, screen cracks are probably more complicated than just cracked glass. Is there an Apple Store nearby that can evaluate it for you?

Edit: Here's info from the Apple website. They caution you to back up the data on the iPad before taking/sending it for service.

I really think I need to make some Buffalo wings this weekend. #blamesugar

(sorry couldn't resist)

Haha..love it! Only if you share with me!!!

The dinner turned out great. I am not bragging but it really was good. ^^ My friend is back to the capital city for her work placement but she will be back in two weeks so I hope to meet her then. :]

Praying because today's world scares me sometimes, especially when things like this happen.

Glad to hear things are getting better for you. Best wishes!

I am sure they won't face any bears and will have a wonderful time instead. :]

I hope the pain will relieve soon. :]

Good morning everyone! Another beautiful day here. Finishing my cup of coffee (I love our coffee machine. I miss it when I am in Scotland) with soya milk and looking for a ticket to book for the flight to Scotland. I've found few of them for reasonable price so I might buy one today before the price increases.

These are few snapshots from railcross European challenge we went to last Sunday. My mum got a VIP ticket since she works at the bank which sponsors the challenges. There are two more coming up. I will miss the one in July but I hope to see the final one in August. I am not a fan of autosports in general but things definitely get excited when the races are seen live. It was a good fun. ^^

I wish everyone a happy Friday!

Good morning, Victoria! Glad to hear dinner went well and sounds like you're having a great time! Have a nice day!

Happy Friday! :???:

I only get half a weekend, though ... there's a major presentation on Monday, so I'll be spending Sunday afternoon and evening at the office. Booo! But maybe I can get a day or part of a day off another time.

We're supposed to finally get warm, sunny weather this weekend. Looking forward to that!

It most definitely is the best. I know it's cliche but they really do grow up way too fast. I wish mine were one, two & three again. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

I know! I can't believe mine we'll be 5 and 3 this summer! Time does fly!

We are VERY busy here in northern California, known to some as the State of Jefferson. We plan to have an inspection on Monday morning and then get busy with the next phase--working on the inside area. Hubby has been checking and rechecking his cabinet calculations and placements.

In addition, we came home from an overnight trip, and Hubby smelled smoke! He went into the add-on section to the house and discovered a black, sooty streak at the outlet for the fridge! Talk about scary! Kane was here while we were gone, and he discovered the burn mark after he, too, had smelled a burn smell. He reset the breaker for the fridge and then turned off all unneeded stuff: lamps, microwave, and the air conditioner to the travel trailer! Today, Hubby and Kane replaced the plug and moved the fridge to another socket just for the fridge. Now Kane will be able to have AC for the rest of the time he will need it until he moves the trailer. The high temps made Kane need the AC this week, and there was only one outlet for his use until all the plugs have been installed. So scary!

I hope all of y'all are well. I am working on scrapbooking a wedding album for my niece and a baby album for her sister. I am still the gofer around here, too. Take care, and I will check in when I can. You can email me if you can help me with my iPad problem. Thanks!

Hey Seawaters, good to see you! Good luck with your inspection on Monday.

As for you iPad problem, it's a pretty simple fix! The kids did it to mine about a year ago and mine looks good as new. I will get in touch with you on Facebook.

Yogi & Skittles are doing great. I'm going to take them out of their cage soon so they could run around and get some exercise. They're so cute. Skittles is still being a little nippy with me which makes me very nervous! Molly & Maggie are doing well too. They're not happy about the screaming parrot though. It's been fun bird sitting but I'm looking forward to them going back home, lol. It's a lot of work. We have them until Monday so I have a few more days. I took these pictures yesterday -

Good morning!
It is going to be a nice day, sunny with temperatures in the mid 70's. It's supposed to be beautiful out all weekend!
My oldest has a routine doctor appointment this morning, I'm going to take a ride with her. We're going to stop at the butcher on the way home so I can get that over with. And then I'll be working on getting my daily chores out the way. I promised my youngest I would go to the mall with her after school, she wants to look for a couple of dresses for graduation day & her party.
The finisher is finally done with our kitchen cabinets. My husband is hoping to start installing them over the weekend. Fingers crossed that all goes well. This project has been going on way too long. It's hard to believe it's finally going to come together!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Enjoy the beautiful day!!

Hope your daughter's appointment goes well ❤️

Yay for the cabinets!!! Woohoo! Excited for you =]
Hope the installation goes smoothly.

Big (((hugs)))!!!
