It's been 2 weeks since I last logged in! I got busy with a video project then as I finished it up I got sick and have been sick for a week. Still fighting it but I need to go to work today. I will come home early if I start feeling too bad.

I think about you all on MMC all the time and sure do miss it when I can't make it here. I hope you all are doing well!

I have spent almost all day on job websites, I have applied and sent my resume to 4 prospective companies. I am shooting high for jobs I have never tried before, but know I can handle. Please wish me luck!!!!
I am feeling very tired, I was once again awoken out of a sound sleep by LC before 7am.

Long time, no see. Haven't been since Wednesday night. Thursday, while in my meeting 4 hours from home, my boss called at 1:30. All you could hear was crying and screaming. Bad storm with sustained winds of 80 mph was coming through and they were getting elementary kids into the high school because they had loaded to go home. Talk about a sick feeling....

Quickly got off the phone with her after talking through the situation and called about Bambina. Babysitter said she was fine and all was good. Nonetheless, I was already headed out the door, so I just kept coming. Our community didn't get power back until Saturday at 1:00 p.m. That explains why I wasn't here Thursday or Friday...but Friday night and Saturday, we drove to see my brother, who turned 40 years old. Amazing. Had a blessed time and got to catch up. Dad flew in and surprised all of us. It was a great time.

Got home last night about 3:00 a.m. Tired, but I will get caught up on rest this week. Got a week vacation and I'm looking forward to it. All Christmas, all week. Can't wait.

See y'all later tonight and tomorrow for coffee.

Were back from our mini vacation! We had a great time, traffic was great, the sun was shining and everone had a great time! I believe the girls are about all roller coastererd out for the moment....

I'm getting caught up on some paperwork right now, thought I would stop by to say Hi and to see how everyone is doing this evening. It's quiet around here now, Victoria is taking a summer on-line class, so she's doing homework, Lisa is decorating our bedroom and master bathroom and I'm upstairs~

So, did I miss anything good in the past 5 days or so?

Good evening, everyone! How are you all doing? I am well! Well, we just got back from vacation early this morning. We got back around 1 this morning, got a little bit of sleep, got up, and unpacked. We were very busy all day. We had an exciting day in my house!

The day started of with DH's birthday being today. EA graduated from preschool then today. What a occasion that was. It was so sentimental. I shed quite a few tears. I can't believe I officially have a Kindergartener! We went out to eat, then came back to our house for an ice cream cake.

I posted lots of pictures on Facebook, including pictures from my vacation, for any of you guys that I am friends with.

Hope you all have had a great day! I don't go back to work until Wednesday, so I plan on just relaxing and getting up on some things around the house here the next few days. Enjoy the rest of your evening!

I'm sitting here watching Christmas shows on Netflix and reading the boards. I'm about to go put lasagna on and just read Christmas stuff all day. Going to spend a few days this week trying to plan out the rest of the year (Christmas and school stuff) and relax. I get this week off and then another at the end of this month, so I'm going to make sure to do what I do best....well, 2nd best....look at Christmas stuff!

Prayers for my dad please, he has been out in the hospital with pneumonia. Mom thinks he will be okay, but his fever got so high today she took him to the ER and they admitted him.

We found out the date for baby #2 has changed. We were told that it was going to be a Christmas day baby. My Wife is further along! Middle of November baby. But I will still have the Christmas stuff up at that time so that's cool. I am currently listening to Christmas music, dreaming of Christmas and snow. We are under the 200 day mark now! WOW! Next month is Christmas in July! Hopefully they play some good movies on tv. I will be having my buddy down to visit for our yearly Christmas in July Movie marathon! Well back to the music. Mom is hanging in- her appointment with the orthopedic surgeon is finally this week, on Thursday. She has been in a lot of pain, so Thursday can't get here fast enough. Thank you for asking!

Good morning!
We are expecting showers/storms with temperatures around 70 degrees.
I wish I could stay in today but I have errands to run. We have a lot going on this month and I have so much to do. Both my husband and my daughter have birthdays coming up. I also have shopping to do for Father's Day. And then there is prom, my daughter's graduation ceremony as well as the party. Along with a few other graduation parties that we are invited to for friends & family members. It's all good stuff, but it's going to be crazy busy.
My husband started to install the kitchen cabinets over the weekend. He's got his work cut out for him but so far, so good.

Good Monday morning everyone. Our son graduated high school Friday evening. It was emotional when he gave the closing prayer. Only 67 days left until move in day at college. How I would love to relive his 18 years, It went by much too quickly.

Good morning, all! We've been having some really nice weather here, and so I got a lot done outside over the weekend. There's a new water fountain in my garden that I set up myself, and we put out a bird feeder and birdbath. So far, we've had house finches, cardinals, blue jays, and squirrels. The feeder is supposed to be squirrel proof, but this one determined squirrel hangs upside down from the hanging wire and eats the seeds. If he's that determined, I guess he can stay. It's fun to watch him, anyhow.

I'm back in the saddle and planning to stay put for a while.


First up.
Big THANKS to our own Christmasstar for her stellar countdown posts while I was away.
Not only that, but she saw us safely through those majestic 200-day Christmas Day French Windows.
And what does that mean?
Well, that we are now in a DOUBLE 100's level count mode!

The figures:
Days to the Season: 157
Days to Christmas Day: 199

Not only do the numbers confirm a double-100's situation, they also tell us that by early August, we will be down to a DOUBLE DIGIT count to the Season!
(How much WOW'er can you get?)


Great weather at the coast and our place is all ready for the first of our Summer renters set to arrive on June 15.
By contrast, we are facing possible rain here for today and most of the week ahead.
Our back door thermometer reads 71 degrees at this hour.

Good morning! You all were busy over the weekend! :smile: I hope everyone had a great weekend! As always - it went to fast, but it was nice & fun! The 5k went well. We got some bike riding in. I woke up yesterday to pouring rain - it was awesome! I watched a couple movies - it rained all morning & then got nice in the afternoon. We stayed at the lake last night since my hubby has the day off today - he is golfing. What was I thinking, not taking today off too?? :lol:
