Christmas Countdown - 2014

199 days until Christmas....amazing.

Summer is one of my favorite times of year....just because of the 4th of July and summer time is low stress for me.

But also because Summer is where we get serious. The count til the season will drop down under 100 days and things will pick up. We will have CIJ (#blamesugar), some places will start putting decorations out, and some of old faces will start coming back around....

My wedding ring is at the jeweler's being resized (my finger is getting fatter!), and my ring finger felt bare this morning. So I put on a gold ring that was my grandmother's, with her initials on top and pretty Art Deco designs on the sides. I've never worn it before because it was way too big---but now it's only slightly big. I got some very nice compliments on it, and it's getting shinier and prettier as I wear it. I'm wondering about replacing my grandmother's initials with my own and continuing to wear it (on the other hand, once my wedding ring is back). I'd feel a bit funny about it, but I don't think she would mind.

My engagement ring and wedding band are also getting a little bit too snug, I may have to do something about it one of these days. Your grandmothers ring sounds lovely!

Okay, Here is what we know so far. Sunday's schedule isn't out yet. It just says the Joy of Christmas show starting at 10pm on Saturday, is a 3 hour show.

Saturday July 19th

1am- Gifts for Grandkids

I know what you mean, Coach!!! After the 4th of July is when I start to get really excited and kick in to high gear as far as preps go. Between Hobby Lobby and QVC, I will be in full on Christmas mode!!!
