Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning friends. Happy first day of summer! The kids have been out if school for a month and summer has been in swing for a while. But after today, the days will get just a bit shorter...and we all know what that means! The second half of the year is my favorite, starting with July, so I'm excited!

This morning is my great-grandma's funeral. There is a lot of family in town. I hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be another hot day here with a high of 85 and crazy high humidity. If it wasn't for the humidity it wouldn't be to bad. I'm getting ready to head out to run some errands and then it will be back home to try and stay cool. If I get really adventurous, i might run out to the county fair this evening for some deep fried goodness. I'll probably wait until later in the week when it is supposed to be a bit cooler though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be another hot day here with a high of 85 and crazy high humidity. If it wasn't for the humidity it wouldn't be to bad. A Good Morning indeed, when we can wake up to news like this:
Days to the Season: 145
Days to Christmas Day: 187

And the best news of all is that we are down to only FIVE days until the HALF WAY Milestone to Christmas Day 2014.
Niiiiiice!


Well, it was a tad cooler yesterday (and a lot more wet, after an evening thunderstorm).
Hopefully, it will be drier today with lower temps, and all in all, the weekend should not be too bad.
We currently record 76 degrees on our thermometer.

It's funny that you say that! We were walking on the dirt, country road that runs parallel to our neighborhood, and some of the homes decks face the road, and this one cute old couple always talk to us when we're walking by...anyways, the field grass is really high, and you can't see much pass the road, and the guy yells to watch out for the snakes! I'm thinking, oh great! We're in the middle if this road...and then he yells that our killer dog can probably take care of then!
Ahhh!!! For a moment, I was nervous that he saw some. He them told us to watch for alligators too
