Good morning!
It's going to a bit cooler today, sunny with temperatures in the mid 70's.
I am just having a quick cup of coffee and thought I'd pop in quick to say hello. I went food shopping early this morning, I'm glad I got that over with. I forgot to bring my mail in yesterday so I was just going through that. My daughter got a red light ticket from one of those camera thingys! Grrr.
Maggie has a vet appointment in a little while and then I'll be heading back home to try and get some of my stuff in the new kitchen cabinets, I never got to do it yesterday. Not too much else going on today.

I would also be angry with my daughter if she got a red light ticket, her safety is to important to risk like that!

It's funny that you say that! We were walking on the dirt, country road that runs parallel to our neighborhood, and some of the homes decks face the road, and this one cute old couple always talk to us when we're walking by...anyways, the field grass is really high, and you can't see much pass the road, and the guy yells to watch out for the snakes! I'm thinking, oh great! We're in the middle if this road...and then he yells that our killer dog can probably take care of then!
Ahhh!!! For a moment, I was nervous that he saw some. He them told us to watch for alligators too

LOL!!!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised to see Snakes along there but I think you are pretty safe from alligators!!!!!!

The doctor hears "crackling" in Maggie's lungs which could be fluid so she's starting an antibiotic again in case there's an infection. We're also increasing her cough suppressant. I'm going to see how she does with the meds before I order the holistic kit that I was looking in to. Fingers crossed, I'll let you know how it goes.

Summer solstice.....
We are on our way back to Christmas! Well, we always are here, but this is just something that I personally kinda celebrate. Kinda like turning the corner or reaching the top of the mountain...it's all down here from here!

Fun times here!
My Dad is home from work (usually is home about 2 months out of the year). This time he is staying a while. He is having knee replacement (on the other leg) so he will be here for a while. Hate that he is having surgery, but we got to shoot our bows this morning, preparing for bow season. Just one of those times we really enjoyed ourself.
Now, we are about to head to a swim party. Pizza, ice cream, cake, water, and the Bambina...perfect afternoon to me. Y'all have a great one and I will see y'all tonight.

The kitchen is far from done but here's a picture. I don't like the handles on the drawers, I'm making him change them. He brought a few home last night and we're trying to decide what looks best. We finally picked the color of the stone for the countertops and island so he will order that soon. And we still have no idea what we'll do for the backsplash. Pay no attention to the holes in the wall, lol.
