Christmas Countdown - 2014

I have actually enjoyed the summer temps so far with it staying right around 90 degrees for the high. Today will be up to 98 and in the triple digits for the next several days. I am not too happy when all I did was walk outside to water a few plants, just took a few minutes, and dripping with sweat! That should be illegal!!! Ha! Boy that just made me mad! Okay, rant over, I feel better now. No time to whine about silly stuff. (But I did anyway) :lol: Count my blessings, count my blessings, count my blessings!!!

It's all good because it will go back down to 90 degrees by Tuesday then in the 80's Wednesday!!! That is very rare! Usually once it hits triple digits we don't get any relief for months.

Stay cool, friend! I love how jolly and happy you are all the time. More people should follow in your footsteps!

I think I know what Wayne and I are doing this weekend - going to visit some different stores to see all the fall goodies! We might head over to Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle store to check out the fall candles too! Yay!!! I am so happy he likes to go shopping with me for these kinds of things in July!

I am ready to decorate for Fall/Halloween now!!!

Do they already sell fall goodies? Wow! I wish people do the same thing in Scotland now. Although I see back-to-school supplies here and there but now massively yet. Anyway, have fun getting ready for fall!

Hello there! I arrived to Glasgow today for the Games. I'm staying here for three weeks. Having my last training tomorrow before I start my shifts on Wednesday. Also planning what to do on days between my shifts. I want to explore the city as much as possible since I'm already here.

Awe, thanks! I have my moments, grumble a bit and not perfect but just try to keep my head up high - not the end of the world when things happen. Of course if it's involving a loved one ill or something tragic - different story! Hard to pep up quickly with something like that going on.

Yep, me too! I keep switching back & forth between HMC & Hallmark. Adrian saw the commercial for them starting up on October 31st, and said 2 straight months of Christmas movies?!?! LOL!!! I said "yep!" Hahaha!! And then cackled!

I sure hope so! He doesn't understand how I can watch the same movies over & over, but they make me happy!!

Hello everyone. It's been an interesting day. My dad had to go to the hospital as his pain was very intense. He is on his way home now with my mom, and I'm over at their place so I can help him in. The ER gave him some pretty heavy duty stuff but chose not to admit him as they said there's just not much they can do. But they've set up hospice to come over. I know it is depressing my dad and all of us, but it's for the best as they can help him manage the pain.

Okay ...sorry to be a major downer on a Friday night!
