Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Woof. It was some kinda HOT yesterday! As soon as I got off work, I jumped on the mower, trying to beat a predicted rain storm. What a storm! The trees were swaying and the rain was falling in sheets.

But I persevered, driving on through the torrential onslaught until nary a blade of grass was uncut!

Does that sound awesome enough? LOL Actually, I did have to cut in the rain for a while, but I couldn't leave it half done, that's even worse than not cutting at all.

It's much cooler this morning, although we go back into the mid-90's this afternoon.

Oh, and I made the Savannah news yesterday, speaking at the hospital board meeting. Every mayor's dream! :mrgreen:

Woof. It was some kinda HOT yesterday! As soon as I got off work, I jumped on the mower, trying to beat a predicted rain storm. What a storm! The trees were swaying and the rain was falling in sheets.

But I persevered, driving on through the torrential onslaught until nary a blade of grass was uncut!

Just a quick run through tonight, the first day back went well easier than anticipated.

I have spent the last 2 days with my spare time recovering most of my "lost" music from my SD cards for my phone. I have recovered and put over 1,800 songs (1,130 were Christmas songs) onto the new computer. I forgot I had them on the cards so I was quite happy I saved them like that.

I have inventory tomorrow so I work late, my wife and kids are heading to the Berkshires for the annual stay with our friends who have a timeshare up there. I won't be going because of work so I will be quite lonely here at home. At least I have MMC!

Lol! It was chilly! The boys were working in our kitchen last night & they had the door to the garage open, as well as the big garage door since they were carrying things out - I walked in that hallway & BRRRRRRR!!!! What the heck!!?

Good morning MMC!! Happy Tuesday! As I've already said - it's another chilly morning! Weird weather! I mentioned we caught a mouse at the trailer last week & a mouse at work over the weekend. My friend said they had a mouse in the trap in their office yesterday too. Makes ya wonder what the heck is going on?! Mice are confused. They don't come inside in July!

The guys had a productive night last night. All cupboards are out of my kitchen as well as the sink & dishwasher. Refrigerator is plugged in on the opposite side of the room, but no water is hooked up to it. I know it's progress, but boy I miss my sink already. Amazing how many times a day I use that sink! We'll get through it! I started working on an afghan for my friend - housewarming gift. I really like the colors, but it's made using 3 strands of yarn together & it seems really really thick. Maybe toooo thick! We'll see! I could always donate it to a homeless shelter if I think it's going to be way too warm for her!

Good morning folks! Tuesday, another day into the work week and seems like we are being blessed with some cooler than usual temperatures; I'll take it. Can you believe that we will be in the first week of August already on Friday, wow, things are starting to move along now. By the end of this work week, will have lost an hour of daylight since June 22nd....

I've was busy this past weekend, keeping up with the yard work, seems like every time we start to get some rain, the grass grows up to 10 inches deep in the lower field. It gets a lot of water run-off from the horse farm next to me, so all that good fertilizer, washes down across my lower field and the grass loves it down there....

We have been consumed with looking for another house, we put a contract in on one yesterday, but have not heard anything yet from the homeowners. I think that there is about a 60/40 chance in getting it, but I truly believe that the homeowner has been busy in calling up other relators that have brought other people thru to look at it and see if they can beat our offer that we put in for the house.

I don't blame the guy, I would do the same thing as well, he wants to get as much as he can for it. We put an offer in that was lower than what he was asking for, because it has been on and off the market for two years now (because he was asking too much money for it) compared to other comps in the neighborhood; beautiful home though and very clean and very well kept.

Were keeping our fingers crossed, hoping and praying for luck to be on our side with this one. I have to always keep reminding myself, that if it's meant to be, then in his way, God will show us and them, the way~

I took advantage of the cooler weather this morning and got my laundry done and the kitchen scrubbed. Now I kick back and work on some other projects that I keep putting off. For the Mid-Atlantic: A cooler than normal winter with above average precipitation is currently favored. Snowfall is projected to be above normal.
