Hello everone. Well I've been spending a lot of time with my dad recently and he had a good day yesterday. After days of not eating he woke up yesterday and wanted ribs. He said some goodbyes and I really thought he was going. He is still here but is becoming more and more incoherent. I am so glad I had yesterday with him though. I'm not ready to lose him, but if I'm going to I'm glad we were able to say goodbye and have one last good day.

What in the heck do I have to do to get a Sears wishbook? I'm so jealous!

It looks like we have to move to Canada. They only offer it in a digital format here in the states.

Hello everone. Well I've been spending a lot of time with my dad recently and he had a good day yesterday. After days of not eating he woke up yesterday and wanted ribs. He said some goodbyes and I really thought he was going. He is still here but is becoming more and more incoherent. I am so glad I had yesterday with him though. Finally done catching up.

Everything is done, today was a very tough day, once again a lot of tears were shed. We said our goodbyes, and celebrated her life. I am going to miss her immensely.

We drove my sister to the airport, she is back home in NC. It is tough, because we don't know the next time we will see her again.

I'll be off for the next two days as part of my bereavement time, I have been crying out of the blue often.

I did get a nice picture with my father and grandpa today, I don't have a lot with my grandma so I wanted one with them. The 3 of us have the same name, and I am the IV.

I keep on dropping in only to drop out right away. Sorry for that.

Just read the last ten pages to update myself.

Lately work has been very boring and we are a little worried. Hopefully it will pick up again, eventhough I would have less time for this forum.

The weather is very fall like. Infact we didn't have a real summer and I wonder wether we will have a hot fall and winter instead. Or maybe we will be in for a very harsh winter with lots of snow.

Much cooler with lower humidity yesterday as the comfortable several day trend predicted has arrived!
Hopefully, it will hang around for the week.
Currently, we record a quite-cool-for-August 63 degrees here in central NC.

Good morning!
It is going to be sunny and warm today with a high of 82 degrees. My daughter and I are going to take a ride to Staples this morning to pick up a graphing calculator. Then we're going out to lunch with my parents. We also plan on going to the mall this afternoon to do more clothes shopping. She only needs a couple of things so it shouldn't take long, then we can finally start packing. I'm praying I can fit all of her stuff in my car when we leave on Friday.

I had posted yesterday the "art" that Wayne and I saw at the Art Museum that doesn't make much sense. Here it is again and below is an art wall that I started over a year ago of my grandchildren's art that I put in frames and hung in the hallway. The kids are so proud of seeing their art hanging in frames on the wall. I have to say their art is far more superior than this one that is guarded at the art museum.

If you look on my art wall, the bottom right corner picture is of Santa on the roof. That one was mailed to me from Trackrebel's daughter Kandice! I was so tickled that she wanted me to have it so I added it to the wall! The top middle one was one my granddaughter did when she was 2 years old. That one is even way better than the top picture I took from the art museum! =)

I plan to start framing more pictures from the kids and filling up the other side of the hallway.

Hi! How is everyone today??

When does everyone do their fall decorating? When I lived in the city, it was like a contest in my neighborhood - EVERYONE was decorated in early September. I swear, some had their fall leaves up at the tail end of August!! Now in my suburban neighborhood, fall decorating isn't so popular but I still do it the first weekend in September, in general. How about you all??

We usually do our fall decoration at the end of september. Maybe this year it will be sooner, as the weather is acting as it is already fall.
