Christmas Countdown - 2014

My granddaughter started kindergarten yesterday and said it was the best day ever! She called me and it was so cute to hear about her day. She said she made lots of friends but that is not surprising! I have observed how she interacts with others on the playground, she plays very well with kids and always makes a few friends.

It's still hard to believe my youngest grandchild is now attending school!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, I worked like a dog yesterday! Do dogs really work that hard? Lulu seems pretty relaxed to me.

Anyway, I finished up right at dark, so I showered and hit the hay. I woke up at 5am and the power was out. It came on around 6am. It turns out a substation transformer blew up in a neighboring town, and it killed power in two counties. I don't think anyway was hurt, though.

We ordered Jacob's class ring this morning. How can he be a junior?!? :?

I should be here all day today. I'm glad to be back at work, so I can get some rest!

We have now moved into the FINAL THIRD of our march back to Christmas Day.

Well, the fall-like weather is here to stay for a couple more days, and I for one couldn't be more pleased.
Not only is it more comfortable, it gives me an early taste of Christmas Season weather!
Right now, we are at 63 degrees here in our sector of MMC.

Good evening,

Finally done catching up.

Everything is done, today was a very tough day, once again a lot of tears were shed. We said our goodbyes, and celebrated her life. I am going to miss her immensely.

We drove my sister to the airport, she is back home in NC. It is tough, because we don't know the next time we will see her again.

I'll be off for the next two days as part of my bereavement time, I have been crying out of the blue often.

I did get a nice picture with my father and grandpa today, I don't have a lot with my grandma so I wanted one with them. The 3 of us have the same name, and I am the IV.

Glad the water didn't get into the house!!!! Hopefully that's the last of the rain until they have the new addition weather tight!!!!

Well, this time she ate my new cookbook! :lol: She chewed off some of the curly "spine" - little booger!!!! She also got some ham off the counter AND snitched a Holiday Bacon Appetizer! We really have to watch her now!!!

Good Morning my dear MMC friends!

I keep on dropping in only to drop out right away. Sorry for that.

Just read the last ten pages to update myself.

Lately work has been very boring and we are a little worried. Hopefully it will pick up again, eventhough I would have less time for this forum.

The weather is very fall like. Infact we didn't have a real summer and I wonder wether we will have a hot fall and winter instead. Or maybe we will be in for a very harsh winter with lots of snow.

It might have already been mentioned on here but just in case it hasn't. For those who are wanting a Sears Wish Book, you should be able to go directly to their website to request one. I have not done that yet but plan on it! =)
