I hope everyone had a nice Labor Day Weekend!

My job was closed to observe the holiday but Wayne and I went in to feed all the animals. Afterward we were trying to decide to go out for lunch or stay home and cook. Instead we let the grocery store do the cooking, picked up rotisserie chicken and some veggies and hung around the house with the dogs and being lazy! Well, we did a few little chores but that's it. We played our Words with Friends game and watched TV. We enjoyed our day very much!

I did not get a chance to catch up on everything here. I hate to post and run but I have a lot to do this morning!

Good Tuesday morning all. Long weekend is over and back to work. We had a great time at Myrtle Beach but it was very hot. Spending time with the family was nice and having our son with us was special.

We are having awful weather here. Much too hot. Temps in the low 80s and humid. September is forecast to have above normal temps.:-(

Well mom's appointment didn't go that well. Her blood is to thin again. So they changed her blood thinner dosage again and we get to go back next weekend. The doctor said she gives up and that she has never had anyone bounce around like this. :lol:

Oh no! I hope they figure something out for her soon!

Good morning! The yesterday's visit at my aunt's was very nice. She was surprised about the presents and the visit. It is such a nice feeling when you make someone else happy, isn't it? :]
I am going to the town centre today 'cause I need to get a frame for the painting my friend painted for me. I want to hang it on the wall in my room. I hope to find a suitable one.

Got back from our 1st family holiday last night was great! Only went away for 4 days but was a nice break. Nothing to look forward to now until christmas really looking forward to my little boys 1st christmas

Merry Morning, what are you all up to today.

My eldest returns to school tomorrow after summer break, although not much of a summer. It was pretty drab the whole 5wks that he was off. As luck would have it, we are expecting summer type weather during September - so summer is not quite over yet.

Our summer is like your autumn temps in the US. Our autumn can be quite cold , perhaps like your early winter. Autumn is my favourite but I am not quite ready to brace those cold temps just yet! lol

I bet you all are welcoming the cooler temps though after your scorching American summer! We had maybe two weeks where it was actually hot (not as hot as yours though).

Ok enough about the weather from me. It will take some time before I settle back into things on here I think. I'm not able to keep up with the posts these days .

Even warmer and more humid. Yesterday was the first day in a while that made me think that summer was still here in force.
Rain predicted over the next several days will heighten the humidity but should lower the temps somewhat

Good morning all !!!!! It's a beautiful Tuesday here in Carolina. This starts the kids second week of school, so we are falling into a normal routine. Thank goodness, our lives are much less stressful with a routine.

Off to work here in bit. And the big thing is nothing to do this evening after work !!!!! I get to come home and cook supper and relax. Now that doesn't happen to often

Good...uh...Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hate to say it, but I'm glad to be back in civilization. It's not that the cabin was that far away, I could be in Bellville in 30 minute, but it was deep in the woods with no pond or river. So, no fishing or swimming. Just sitting around. Ugh, that ain't me. It was a very cool cabin, with cedar siding inside & out, large cook shelter, 12 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. But, unless you like just sitting around, it was kind of a bore LOL!

And my bossy sister-in-law was as bossy as ever. Grrr!

I think Lulu enjoyed spending the weekend with my mom. I don't think mom wanted to let Lulu go when I went to pick her up. I wish she would get a pet; they are so much company.

The weather is the same way here!!! We went almost all summer without a 90 degree day and they are predicting three of them at the end of this week.
