Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good afternoon, everyone!

A new Monday and a new workweek. Somehow, September seems to be nearly in our rearview mirror. Only two more days until we pass it by.

The weekend was fun. Busier than expected but fun. Ribfest was delicious. And, of course, the Packers game yesterday was a success. Glad they seem to be getting their stuff together... At least on the offensive side.

No teaching today. Back at Passport. Thankfully, I am already booked to teach tomorrow. Hopefully I will receive a few more calls for the week. It would be great to only come here once or twice this week.

Well, it is almost time to get back to work. I hope the Blossoms of Christmas are more prominent in your area than mine. I guess I will just have to keep looking.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a loooong weekend I had. Friday night, my brother called around 10:30 pm. His girlfriend's car broke down near Hilton Head. For some reason, we couldn't just go pick her up, she needed another car. So we went to the Savannah Airport and rented a car, then took it to her. I got home at 2 am.

Then I got up at 7:30 Saturday morning to get Elizabeth to dance practice. We got back home at noon, then she had to go back at 4:00 pm for Dracula rehearsals.

Went back home at 5:30 to get Jacob to take him to a band practice till 9:00 pm.

These kids practice in a nearby county, but it's too far away to just drop them off and go back home. You have to wait till it's done. Exxon is laughing all the way to the bank. LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Enjoy it. Trust me, you will miss it when it is over.

DH played keyboard for two bands. We are all tired from the busy Saturday we had. We live in DH's hometown, 20 minutes from my hometown. Easy to "go back home" when I want to! I got to have lunch with my sister & niece. I haven't seen my sister since Father's Day. We live almost an hour from each other, on opposite sides of our hometown.

It's almost October! I plan to order DD's Halloween costume online. I think that will be easier than driving an hour & hoping the store has her size. Have a great day all!

Got the same charge yesterday when I was browsing through the genres on TuneIn and found Christmas listed! (Also found a great theater organ station!)
