Good morning MMC!! Happy Friday! :???:



Painting is done!!! YAY!!! And I like it ~ double YAY! :???: My hubby cut the window out & cut the doorway in last night, so now I don't have to crawl through a window to get to our new room anymore! :???: Feels like it's getting closer to being done! YIPPEE!



It's not supposed to be a very nice weather weekend. It's rainy today - chance of rain tomorrow with a high of 49 & a low of 38 - windy all weekend too. But we are going to head to the lake. We'll watch the Buckeyes tomorrow & probably be hanging inside most of the weekend. Hubby will probably be doing some work at home - there is plenty to do b/f carpet comes on Thursday! (Trim, electric, ceiling fan...)



I have my Christmas Apple candle burning here at work. Smells pretty wonderful!

Weekend Eve -- it's here again.

As are the morning numbers, dependably delivered as always, to be enjoyed along with that morning cup
of of sweet southern tea.

Days to the Season: 42
Days to Christmas Day: 84.

And incredibly, we now find ourselves barely over half a week off from the last of our long list of
Season Milestones, the Ninety Percent Home Stretch marker!
(Closing in fast, now!)

Well, it nearly felt like summer had returned here yesterday, with our high moving back into the 80's.
Dry too, without the slightest threat of precipitation.
Could rain this evening, however, but the weekend should be pretty good.
We are at 65 degrees here, currently.

And I will see you here Monday morning, with our guest counter, Brent, taking the bridge for the next two mornings.

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's a breezy and mostly sunny fall day in Ottawa. Temperatures are to reach the mid20s/lower 70s. Quite warm for October! All the teachers are looking forward to the weekend, especially when the long weekend is next!

My day has been quite easy. The admins didn't realize that I was coming in today. It was just an oversight on their part. Therefore, they gave me the leftovers. I was in the library all morning. Now, I am on break and then I have a class of about 12 students during the final period of the day. Seems like it should be quite easy for me!

I don't think I really have any plans for this evening. Most of my friends are going to Octoberfest at a local brewery. I really wanted to go, but I am going to save some money instead. There are two events that I want to attend near the end of the month, and not going to Octoberfest will ensure that I can afford those.

It looks as if it will be gym and then dinner for me tonight. We'll see if Kim wants to do anything. Perhaps we could watch a movie of some sort...

Well, I guess I should do a it of preparation for my only class. There's nothing like a nice easy day before the weekend! I think I like this a little - and by little, I mean a lot - more than Passport. Hopefully some calls for next week will come in tonight!

Thanks, MRB!!!! It's going okay!!!

They only rented the smallest uhaul truck thinking it would be big enough to get everything. We have filled it up twice now and there is still another half a load to go probably.

That has worked out nicely though. I help load it, they take it out to the new house and their SIL helps unload it while I take a break and get other stuff done.

It's been really windy and raining off and on though. So it's a good thing I didn't go out to the festival anyways. Tomorrow is going to be windy and cold but the rain is supposed to stay north of us.
