All of our feline friends left on the last load. So we are back to just the skunks to keep us company.

They only rented the smallest uhaul truck thinking it would be big enough to get everything. We have filled it up twice now and there is still another half a load to go probably.



That has worked out nicely though. I help load it, they take it out to the new house and their SIL helps unload it while I take a break and get other stuff done.



It's been really windy and raining off and on though. So it's a good thing I didn't go out to the festival anyways. Tomorrow is going to be windy and cold but the rain is supposed to stay north of us.

wow, been a long time since I logged in here! With fall here, I hate autumn btw..
I am longing for Winter and the Christmas season more then ever right now!! I know I kind of dropped off the face of the earth for the last couple years, but I never forgot about this wonderful place! Reading this thread and seeing the same people I used to see here all the time is very comforting!

In the last couple years, I have literally lost everything but gained everything too! (if that makes sense) I am now engaged to a wonderful woman that loves Christmas as much as I do, and is willing to put up with my Clark Griswold like tendicies lol!

Glad to see this site is still going and I am really hoping all my kindred holiday junkie friends will accept me back into this community despite my long hiatus.

If anyone is curious about what I been up to and what went on in the last 2 years, feel free to friend me on facebook and read my timeline....that would be easier than trying to explain here .
