Good Morning, Everyone!

Well, believe it or not, it's here.
The FINAL pre-Season Milestone of 2014.
Wow.

Days to the Season: 38
Days to Christmas Day: 80

Today.
TODAY!
We begin the Home Stretch run to Christmas Season 2014.
Yep. It's true.
We are NINETY PERCENT of the way back "home".


Warmer yesterday than the day before, but still a tad coolish. That should change over the next few days
and we are supposed to be in for nice run weather-wise through the remainder of the week.
This morning has commenced at 58 degrees here in our little part of the MMC universe.

The repair guy will be back on Saturday to fix the air conditioner. The high will be 94 degrees today and right at 90 the rest of the week. Our first cool day will be on Saturday when I won't need the AC! Oh well, just gotta make the best of it! At least I have a roof over my head! cheesy

I want to get those Halloween decorations out on my porch but waiting for cooler weather to do that. Maybe I will do that early this morning before it heats up.

Good Morning everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great day! Sitting here enjoying coffee out of my 2009 Starbucks Christmas tumbler, really craving some Starbucks Christmas blend though, hopefully they will have it available soon!

A beautiful autumn morning here in Western Pa, trying to get the motivation to go out and take advantage of the nice weather to do some yardwork, I am probably going to regret saying this now a couple months down the road....but I would much rather be shoveling snow than having to mow the grass one more time this year!! :lol:

Good Morning everyone!! Hope everyone is having a great day! Sitting here enjoying coffee out of my 2009 Starbucks Christmas tumbler, really craving some Starbucks Christmas blend though, hopefully they will have it available soon!

I haven't tried 'Christmas blend' before but I wanted to so it's a good reminder for myself to do so this year. :]

Merry Morning all!

It looks set to be a very wet October which is disappointing as I would prefer cold crisp autumn days to the wet, soggy, damp I just hope we have a dry Halloween. I have been soaked both morning this week taking my son to school ...ah well.

I was really excited to find out that the city will be doing their big switch on of the Christmas lights on Nov 07!! It's usually a big deal with someone famous flipping the switch, live music from guest performers and fireworks at the end. It is the official launch of the Christmas season here!!! I love when the city is all lit up and decorated. My town will probably follow soon after with our own big switch on ....on a smaller scale though!

I just love this feeling of anticipation and excitement!

Good evening to all. I have just finished my notes for tomorrow's lecture. It was a lot to read and a lot to write because I didn't do enough work last weekend. Never do this again. :/ I am tired and my head is buzzing so I'm not staying up late. (Trying to install a new habit here too - going to bed and walking up earlier than now. My goal is to wake up at 5am every morning so I am slowly working my way towards it.)
Just wanted to share what a beautiful day it was today. Morning was the best. Sunny and crispy - second time only this fall. Such a blessing. :]
